Անբավարար առողջ քունը- Երիկամների հյուսվածքները վերականգնվում են գիշերային քնի ընթացքում, այնպես որ բավարար քունը երիկամներին անհրաժեշտ է: Չափից շատ կոֆեին –Կոֆինն ունի միզամուղ հատկություն, այդ պատճառով ստիպում է երիկամներին աշխատել ավելի արագ ու առաջացնում է ծանրաբեռնվածություն:
Նստակյաց կենսակերպ – Այս պատճառով երիկամներում տեղի է ունենում գերբեռնվածություն: Վիտամին В6 անբավարարություն– Երիկամներին անհրաժեշտ է վիտամին В6՝ կանանց համար մոտ 1.6-1.8 մգ, իսկ տղամարդկանց համար՝ 2-2.2 մգ:

Շատ սպիտակուցներ–Օրգանիզմում առկա սպիտակուցները այնտեղից դուրս են գալիս երիիկամների օգնությամբ: Երբ երիկամները չեն կարողանում դրանք օրգանիզմից դուրս բերել, ապա կարող են առաջանալ քարեր: Անբավարար քանակությամբ ջուր – Ջուրը դուրս է բերում օրգանիզմից տոքսիները:
