ԱՄՆ-ի հրթիռահարվածն ուղղված Էր Սիրիայում խաղաղ գործընթացի վիժեցմանը եւ իշխանափոխությանը, բայց դրան հասնելու փորձերը հաջողություն չեն ունենա: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտարարել Է Ռուսաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը՝ ամփոփելով Իրանի եւ Սիրիայի իր պաշտոնակիցներ Մոհամադ Ջավադ Զարիֆի եւ Վալիդ Մուալեմի հետ Մոսկվայում կայացած հանդիպման արդյունքները:
 
«Այդօրինակ ագրեսիվ ակցիաները ակնհայտորեն նպատակամղված են այն բանին, որ վիժեցնեն խաղաղ գործընթացը, որը նախատեսված Է ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհրդի միաձայն ընդունված բանաձեւով եւ ենթադրում Է, որ միայն Սիրիայի ժողովուրդն Է վճռելու երկրի ճակատագիրը,-ասել Է նա:-Այդօրինակ ակցիան բացահայտորեն ուղղված Է այդ բազային հայեցակարգից հեռանալուն եւ իշխանափոխության անցնելու համար պատրվակներ գտնելուն»: 
«Այդ փորձերը հաջողությամբ չեն պսակվի: Նման բան չի լինի»,-ընդգծել Է Լավրովը: 
 
Մոսկվան, Դամասկոսը եւ Թեհրանը պնդում են, որ ԱՄՆ-ը պետք Է հարգի Սիրիայի ինքնիշխանությունը, նշել Է Լավրովը: 
«Մենք հավաստեցինք միասնական դիրքորոշումն այն մասին, որ խոսքը վերաբերում Է ԱՄՆ-ի կողմից ագրեսիայի ակտին, ՄԱԿ-ի Կանոնադրության կոպիտ խախտմանը:-ասել Է Լավրովը:-Պնդում ենք, որ նրանք հարգեն Սիրիայի ինքնիշխանությունը եւ թույլ չտան ապրիլի 7-ի ակցիայի կրկնություն»: 
 
Ինչպես ընդգծել Է Լավրովը, Ռուսաստանը կշարունակի անհրաժեշտ ողջ աջակցությունը ցուցաբերել Սիրիայի կառավարությանը երկրում խաղաղության վերականգման գործում: 
 
«Կշարունակենք Սիրիայի կառավարությանն անհրաժեշտ ողջ աջակցությունը ցուցաբերել խաղաղության, տնտեսության, քաղաքացիական ենթակառուցվածքի վերականգնման եւ Սիրիայի տուժած բնակչության հումանիտար սուր խնդիրների լուծման համար»,-հավելել Է ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարարը, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
