3 ամիս շարունակ 2 խումբն էլ սնվել է նույն սխեմայով (օրական մինչև 1200 կալորի), սակայն 1-ին խմբի սննդակարգի մեջ ամեն օր ընդգրկվել է 1 թեյի գդալ քիմիոնի (тмин) սերմեր: Համեմունքը խառնել են անյուղ յոգուրդի հետ ու ավելացրել են աղցաների վրա:
Արդյունքները տպավորիչ են եղել. 1-ին խմբի կանայք կորցրել են միջինում 14 %-ով ավելի շատ ճարպային զանգված, քան 2-րդ խմբի կանայք:
