Գաղտնիք չէ, որ ցանկացած խոշոր ձեռքբերման հիմքում նախևառաջ ընկած է հսկայական աշխատանք, որ իրականցնում են ոչ միայն անձամբ նրանք, ովքեր կարողացել են կոնկրետ հաջողությունների հասնել, այլև, որ խիստ կարևոր է, նրանք, ովքեր սատարել, ուղղորդել ու նեցուկ են կանգնել համապատասխան մարդկանց այդ հաղթանակներն ու ձեռբերումներն ի կատար ածելու ճանապարհին:
Հայաստանի օլիմպիական կոմիտեն՝ նախագահ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի գլխավորությամբ, որ, յուր անձով իսկ վաղուց վերածվել է հայկական սպորտի բացառիկ վերածննդի կատարյալ խորհրդանիշի, Օպերայի և բալետի ազգային ակադեմիական թատրոնում կազմակերպած մեծարման ու պարգևատրման երեկոյին՝ նվիրված Ռիոյի Օլիմիպիական խաղերում իրենց փայլուն դրսևորած մեր մարզիկներին ու նրանց մարզիչներին, իսկական անակնկալ էր պատրաստել ոչ միայն մեր հերոս մարզիկների, այլև ողջ հանրության համար՝ մեկընդմիշտ ապացուցելով, որ Հայաստանի ունեցած սահմանափակ հնարավորություններն ամենևին էլ արգելք չեն կարող դառնալ հայրենիքի արժանավոր զավակներին մեծարելու, բացառիկ մասշտաբների հասնող պարգևներ շնորհելու ու ըստ արժանվույնս գնահատելու ճանապարհին. ընդամենը համապատասխան կամք է պետք:
Իսկ այն, որ պարգևներն, իրապես, տիտանական մասշտաբների են, կասկածների տեղիք չի տալիս.նախ, հարկ է նշել, որ ՀԱՕԿ նախագահ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը Ռիոյի օլիմպիական չեմպիոն, հունահռոմեական ըմբիշ Արթուր Ալեքսանյանի, ինչպես նաև արծաթե մեդալակիր Միհրան Հարությունյանի, որն, ինչպես հայտնի է, աղաղակող անարդարության զոհ էր դարձել Օլիմպիական խաղերում ու միայն այդ պատճառով զրկվել ոսկե մեդալից, իսկական անակնկալ էր պատրաստել՝ անակնկալ՝ տիտանական մասշտաբների. թե՛ Արթուրը, թե՛ Միհրանը պարգևատրվեցին մոտ 1 միլիոն դոլար արժողությամբ 300 քմ տարածք ունեցող շքեղ բնակարաններով՝ Երևանի սրտում գտնվող էլիտար շենքում:
Ծառուկյանը նաև պարգևներ հանձնեց մեր մյուս օլիմպիական մեդալակիրներին՝ Գոռ Մինասյանին ու Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանին: Մինասյանը, բացի այն, որ Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանի հետ միասին արժանացավ 30 մլն դրամ պարգևավճարի, պարգևատրվեց նաև չորս սենյականոց բնակարանով՝ Գյումրիում: Ծառուկյանը հաճելի անակնկալի բերեց նաև ծանրամարտի ազգային հավաքականի գլխավոր մարզիչ Փաշիկ Ալավերդյանին, ով պարգևատրվեց չորս սենյականոց բնակարանով՝ Երևանում:
Պետք է նշել, որ ձեռնունայն չմնացին նաև մեր մյուս մարզիչները. հունահռոմեական ոճի ըմբշամարտի ազգային հավաքականի գլխավոր մարզիչ Լևոն Ջուլֆալակյանին և Արթուր Ալեքսանյանի անձնական մարզիչ Գևորգ Ալեքսանյանին տրվեց 10-ական մլն դրամ, ծանրամարտի հավաքականի 2-րդ մարզիչ Վիգեն Խաչատրյանին, մարզիչներ Աշոտ և Հակոբ Փիլոսյաններին՝ 5-ական մլն դրամ:
Արդարև, մեր իրականության մեծագույն հայ բարերարներից մեկի՝ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի՝ հայկական սպորտի զարգացման մեջ ունեցած ներդրումն անզուգական է, անհամեմատելի: Ծառուկյանը բազմիցս է ապացուցել՝ հանուն սեփական երկրի պատիվն աշխարհով մեկ բարձր պահելու, հանուն մեր ժողովրդի արժանի զավակներին արժանին մատուցելու՝ ոչնչի առաջ կանգ չի առնում՝ անելով հնարավորն ու անհնարինը՝ արդյունքի հասնելու համար՝ չխնայելով ոչինչ, չխնայելով որևիցե նյութական միջոց. ի դեպ, իր անօրինակ նեդրումների համար երեկոյի ընթացքում Ծառուկյանը պետության կողմից պարգևատրվեց պատվո նշանով՝ մի պարգև, որն, անկասկած, Ծառուկյանը վաստակել է իր քրտնաջան աշխատանքով ու նվիրվածությամբ:
