Յոդը շատ մեծ նշանակություն ունի օրգանիզմի առողջության համար: Առաջին հերթին այն պատասխանատու է վահանաձև գեղձի ճիշտ աշխատանքի համար և ապահովում է գլխուղեղի աշխատանքի ու իմունիտետի պահպանման համար անհրաժեշտ հորմոնալ բալանսը: Յոդի պակասի հետևանքով առաջնում են սրտանոթային համակարգի խնդիրներ, խանգարվում է էմոցիոնալ կայունությունը, կարող են առաջանալ մկանային ցավեր ու մաշկային խնդիրներ: Սա է պատճառը, որ օրգանիզմում այս տարրի մակարդակը պահպանելն անչափ կարևոր է:

2. Առավոտյան անհրաժեշտ է ստուգել դաստակը: Եթե 3 գծից ոչ մեկի հետքը չի երևում, ապա անհրաժեշտ է անմիջապես խորհրդակցել էնդոկրինոլոգի հետ և հանձնել համապատասխան անալիզները, որպեսզի բժիշկն արդեն կատարի բոլոր անհրաժեշտ նշանակումները:
3. Եթե մնացել է միայն 1 գիծ, ապա հարկավոր է վերանայել սննդակարգը: Յոդի օրական չափաբաժինը պարունակվում է 100 գրամ ծովային կաղամբի (լամինարիա) մեջ: Բացի այդ, յոդով հարուստ մթերք են նաև ծովային ձկները, մանր ծովախեցգետինները, ծիրանաչիրը, ձուն և ֆեյխոան:
4. Եթե անհետացել է միայն ամենաբարակ գիծը, ապա ձեր առողջությանը վտանգ չի սպառնում:
