Բամիան զարմանալի բանջարեղեն է, որով կարելի է պատրաստել տարբեր ապուրներ և աղցաններ։ Բամիան կալցիումի հարուստ աղբյուր է։ Այն պարունակում է երկաթ, մագնեզիում, ֆոսֆոր, ցինկ, A, B1, B2, B3, C, E, K վիտամիններ։ Այս ամենով այն դառնում է հիանալի բաղադրիչ առողջության համար։
