Հայաստանի ՏԿԱԻՆ-ում, այսօր՝ օգոստոսի 17-ին, ժամը 06.27-ին ՌԴ ԱԻՆ-ից տեղեկատվություն է ստացվել, որ ժամը 02.55-ին ՌԴ Արմավիր քաղաքի մոտակայքում (Պյատիգորսկ-Արմավիր 209կմ) տեղի է ունեցել ավտովթար. Երեւան - Անապա ուղեւորվող «Մերսեդես» մակնիշի 34 TL 778 համարանիշի միկրոավտոբուսը դուրս է եկել ճանապարհի երթեւեկելի հատվածից (8 մ) եւ բախվել ծառին:
Նախնական տվյալներով միկրոավտոբուսում եղել է 20 մարդ. կա 2 զոհ՝ Ղուկասյան Արմեն (երկրորդ վարորդը, 1978թ. ծնված), 2-րդ զոհի ինքնությունը չի հաջողվել պարզել:
13 քաղաքացի տարբեր մարմնական վնասվածքներով տեղափոխվել է Արմավիր քաղաքի 3-րդ քաղաքային հիվանդանոց:

55-ամյա Բեյբուցյան, մյուս քաղաքացու տվյալները ճշտվում են)
Քաղաքացիների Պողոսյանների առողջական վիճակը բժիշկները գնահատել են ծանր, մյուսներինը՝ միջին ծանրության:
