Սերգեյ Սիրովը մասնակցել է արցախյան ազատամարտին և միշտ պատրաստ է կանգնել եղբայրական հայ ժողովրդի կողքին

Ազգությամբ բելառուս, մոսկվաբնակ Սերգեյ Սիրովը 1990-ականներին հայկական զորամիավորումների կազմում ակտիվ մասնակցություն է ունեցել արցախյան ազատամարտին, իսկ վերջին՝ ապրիլիյան քառօրա պատերազմի ընթացքում ժամանել է Հայաստան՝ եղբայրական հայ ժողովրդին բարոյական և մարդասիրական աջակցություն ցուցաբերելու համար:
Սերգեյ Սիրովն «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում հիշեց, թե ինչպես է ստացվել, որ որոշում է կայացրել մասնակցել արցախյան ազատամարտին և ծանր պահին լինել հայ ժողովրդի կողքին: Նա պատմեց, որ 1992թ. տանը նստած հեռուստացույց դիտելիս է եղել, երբ ցուցադրել են ղարաբաղյան պատերազմի մասին ռեպորտաժ: «Ես ողջ երիտասարդությունս նվիրել եմ սպորտին, զբաղվել եմ հրաձգությամբ: 1992թ. տանը նստած հեռուստացույց էի նայում ու հանկարծ Ղարաբաղի մասին ռեպորտաժ ցույց տվեցին: Այդ ժամանակ ես անգամ չգիտեի, թե որտեղ է գտնվում Ղարաբաղը: Ես տեսա, որ Ադրբեջանը բոլոր կողմերից շրջապատել էր այդ փոքր հողակտորը՝ Ղարաբաղը, տեսա, որ այնտեղ քրիստոնյաներ են, մեր եղբայրներն են: Այդ ռեպորտաժում պատմում էին, որ ուկրաինացիների մի մեծ խումբ մեկնում է Ղարաբաղ՝ ադրբեջանցիների կողմից կռվելու համար: Ես էլ որոշեցի, որ պետք է գնամ ու օգնեմ եղբայրական հայ ազգին, մի ազգի, որի ներկայացուցիչների հետ ես երկար տարիներ ընկերություն եմ արել: Իմ կյանքում հայերն ամենուր են»,- ասաց Սիրովը:
Նա հայնտեց, որ, սկսած 1992թ., մարտնչել է Աշոտ Խաչատրյանի գլխավորած ջոկատում, սակայն դրա հետ մեկտեղ օգնել է այլ ջոկատների ևս: Սիրովը մարտերի մասնակցել է «Խաչակիրների», ինչպես նաև ՍԴՀԿ «Մեծն Մուրադ» ջոկատի կազմում: Հունիսի 18-ին Երևանում 1915թ. Պոլսի Սուլթան Բայազիտ հրապարակում կախաղան բարձրացված Հնչակյան 20 գործիչների հիշատակի ոգեկոչման արարողության ընթացքում Սերգեյ Սիրովը պարգևատրվեց ՍԴՀԿ «Մեծն Մուրադ» հուշամեդալով:
Սիրովը Հայաստանում է եղել նաև ապրիլի սկզբին Ադրբեջանի կողմից Արցախի դեմ սանձազերծած քառօրյա պատերազմի ընթացքում, սակայն նշում է, որ այդ ընթացքում մարտերի չի մասնակցել, այլ եկել է իր բարեկամներին բարոյական և մարդասիրական աջակցություն ցույց տալու համար: «Եթե այդ ամենը լայնածավալ պատերազմի վերածվեր, ես, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, կմասնակցեի մարտերին, սակայն այդպես չեղավ»,- ասաց նա:
Սերգեյ Սիրովն ազգությամբ բելառուս է, ծնվել է Բրեստում: Վերջին տարիներին ապրել է Գերմանիայում, իսկ ներկա պահին ապրում է Մոսկվայում, որտեղ նույնպես շատ հայ ընկերներ ունի:
