Չեխ ռազմական լրագրող, Եվրախորհրդարանի պատգամավոր, ԵՄ-Հայաստան եւ ԵՄ-Ադրբեջան խոհրդարանական համագործակցության, ինչպես նաեւ «Եվրանեսթ» խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի պատվիրակության անդամ Յարոմիր Շտետինան Չեխիայի Հանրապետության նախագահ Միլոշ Զեմանի՝ երկրի խորհրդարանին եւ կառավարությանը Գերմանիայի օրինակին հետեւելու կոչը  գնահատում է որպես  դրական քայլ: «Նախագահի ձայնը, իհարկե, ազդեցիկ ձայն է: Ես լիովինխրախուսում եմ նրա այդ քայլը, քանի որ Չեխիայի խորհրդարանը դեռ չի ընդունել Հայոցցեղասպանությունը: Դա մեր պետության ամոթն է»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում նշեց պատգամա վորը:

Նրա խոսքով՝ նախագահ Զեմանի հայտարարությունից հետո մեծ շանսեր կան, որ Չեխիան ի վերջո կընդունի Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը: «Բնականաբար, կան հեռանկարներ, քանի որ փաստացիորեն ամենաուժեղ կուսակցություններից մեկը՝  Սոցիալ-դեմոկրատական կուսակցությունը, ես ինչքան գիտեմ, հակված է ճանաչելու Ցեղասպանությունը:  Ես կարծում եմ, որ այն վճռորոշ դեր ունի, եւ հայկական դիվանագիտությունը պետք է կենտրոնանա  հենց այս կուսակցության պատգամավորների հետ աշխատանք տանելու վրա: Թե՛ հայ դիվանագիտությունը, թե՛ սփյուռքը պետք է աշխատանք տանեն ամբողջ Ե վրոպայում,  քանի որ փաստացիորեն ամենազդեցիկ դերն ունեցող երկրներից մեկի՝ Գերմանիայի որոշումը կարող է ունենալ դոմինոյի ազդեցություն»,-վստահեցրեց նա:

Անդրադառնալով չեխ-թուրքական հարաբերություններին եւ Թուրքիայի հետագա քայլերին, պատգամավորը նշեց.«Կարծում եմ, որ երկու երկրների կապերը հիմնված են ՆԱՏՕ-ում գործընկերներ լինելու վրա, սակայն դա ոչ մի կերպ չեմ ուզում այս հարցի հետ կապել:  Առհասարակ Թուրքիայի տնտեսական հարաբերությունները Եվրոպայի, մասնավորապես Գերմանիայի հետ կլինեն ավելի  հզոր, քան Թուրքիայի ձգտումը քննադատելու այդ որոշումը, բացի դրանից, այն Եվրոպայի գլխավոր տնտեսական գործընկերն է, այն միգուցե  բողոքի, միգուցե սպառնա, սակայն չեմ կարծում, որ հետագա հետեւանք ները շատ լուրջ կլինեն»,- ասաց Յարոմիր Շտետինան:

Նրա խոսքով՝  այս հարցում իրեն չի զարմացնում Ադրբեջանի դիրքորոշումը:  «Ադրբեջանցիները  նույն թուրքերն են, պարզապես այս մեկը թուրք է կոչվում, մյուսը՝ ազերի»,-եզրափակեց Եվրախորհրդարանի պատգամավորը:

Գերմանիայի Բունդեսթագը հունիսի 2-ին ընդունեց Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման բանաձևը, որն ունի «1915 և 1916 թթ. հայերի և մյուս քրիստոնյա փոքրամասնությունների ցեղասպանությանհիշատակի և ոգեկոչման մասին» անվանումը: Բանաձևն ընդունվեց ունենալով ընդամենը մեկ դեմ, մեկ ձեռնպահ ձայն:

Հունիսի 8-ին Չեխիայի նախագահ Միլոշ Զեմանը Հայաստանում պաշտոնական այցի շրջանակում հայտարարեց, որ Չեխիա վերադառնալուն պես կոչ կանի կառավարությանն ու խորհրդարանին հետեւելուգերմանական օրինակին եւ պաշտոնապես ճանաչելու թուրքերի կողմից իրականացված Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը։
