Լոնդոնյան տաքսիները, որոնք քաղաքում անվանում են սև քէբ, քաղաքի կոլորիտի մաս են կազմում, տեղավորում են հինգ անձ՝ իրենց ուղեբեռով: Բացի սևից, Լոնդոնում կարելի է տեսնել նաև այլ գույնի տաքսիներ:


Տոկիոյում տաքսին թանկ հաճույք է, քանի որ հաշվիչը կանգ չի առնում անգամ այն ժամանակ, երբ մեքենան սպասում է կամ խցանումների մեջ է:

Մոսկվայում տաքսիները շատ տարածված են: Այստեղ տարբեր տեսակի տաքսիները՝ նաև մասնավոր, շատ են, բայց դեղին գույնի տաքսիները շատ տարածված են:

Չինաստանի Շէնչժէնի փողոցներում BYD auto ընկերության կողմից արտադրված էլեկտրոնային տաքսիները հայտնվել են դեռևս 2011-ից: 2014-ից էլեկտրոնային տաքսիներ շահագործման հանձնվեցին Կոլումբիայում և Մեծ Բրիտանիայում:
