ՀՀ ազգային ժողովի նախագահ Գալուստ Սահակյանը մայիսի 28-ին շնորհավորական ուղերձ է հղել Հանրապետության տոնի առթիվ: 

Ինչպես տեղեկանում ենք ՀՀ ԱԺ հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, ուղերձում ասվում է.

«Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ, շնորհավորում եմ մեր կարեւորագույն պետական տոներից մեկի` Հանրապետության տոնի առթիվ:

Սա այն տոնն է, որով ամրագրվեց մեր պետականության պատմությունը, պատմություն, որի մասին թեեւ խոսում ենք շուրջ 100 տարվա հեռավորությունից, սակայն այն իր հերոսականությամբ տակավին թարմ է, արդիական ու տպավորիչ:

Հայաստանի առաջին հանրապետությունը ստեղծվեց հայրենիքի փրկության համար հնչած ճակատագրական կանչով, որը բխում էր բոլորի հոգուց եւ որը միավորեց բոլորին` ի զեն հանուն երկրի, ընդդեմ երկրին սպառնացողների, ընդդեմ մեր ժողովրդի ապագան կասկածի տակ դնողների: Այդ կանչը, որի համախմբող ուժի շնորհիվ ծնվեցին մեր պատմության փառավոր` Սարդարապատի, Բաշ Ապարանի, Ղարաքիլիսայի ճակատամարտ-հաղթանակները, որի շնորհիվ ծնվեց Հայաստանի առաջին հանրապետությունը, հասել է մինչեւ մեր օրերը եւ լսելի է մեր ժողովրդի բոլոր հատվածներին` Հայաստանում, Արցախում, Սփյ ուռքում: Այդ կանչն ականջներում՝ հանուն հայրենիքի վերջերս կրկին հերոսացան մեր զինվորն ու սպան, այդ կանչին ականջալուր՝ վերստին նրանց միացան կամավորն ու ազատամարտիկը:

Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ, Հայաստանի երրորդ հանրապետության հռչակման 25-ամյակին ընդառաջ` Հայաստանի առաջին հանրապետությունն իր կարճատեւ գոյությամբ հանդերձ ավելի է կարեւորվում պատմական նշանակության եւ պետականության փորձի առումով: Այն երեւույթ էր, որը դեռեւս արժեւորման կարիք ունի, այն իրադարձություն էր, որը բեկումնային էր, այն փորձառություն էր, որը պետություն ստեղծելու եւ կառավարելու յուրահատուկ դասընթաց էր: Առաջին հանրապետության ստեղծումից շուրջ մեկ դար անց մենք զգում ենք այն ոգին, որ Սարդարապատից, Բաշ Ապարանից, Ղարաքիլիսայից գ ալիս հասնում է մեզ` մեր ընտանիք ու աշխատավայր, բանակ ու սահման եւ մղում միասնական ջանքերով ու գործնական քայլերով ավելի վստահ գրելու մեր պետականության ու ժողովրդի այսօրվա եւ վաղվա պատմությունը:

Եւս մեկ անգամ շնորհավորելով Հանրապետության տոնի առթիվ` բոլորիս մաղթում եմ խաղաղություն, լավատեսություն եւ հավատ առ այն, որ վաղը մենք եւ մեր սերունդներն ապրելու ենք ավելի լավ Հայաստանում` արձանագրելով ավելի մեծ հաջողություններ»:
