ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն հուլիսի 23-ին ընդունել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում Եվրոպական միության պատվիրակության ղեկավար, դեսպան Տրայան Հրիսթեային, ով ավարտում է դիվանագիտական առաքելությունը մեր երկրում:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, նախագահը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել դեսպան Հրիսթեային՝ առաքելության ժամանակահատվածում կատարած աշխատանքի և Հայաստանի կառավարության, խորհրդարանական ուժերի, քաղաքացիական հասարակության հետ արդյունավետ համագործակցություն հաստատելու համար: Ընդգծելով, որ Հայաստան-Եվրոպական միություն հարաբերությունների դինամիկ զարգացման գործում մեծ դեր է վերապահված ԵՄ պատվիրակությանը, Սերժ Սարգսյանը հույս է հայտնել, որ Հայաստանում ԵՄ հաջորդ դեսպանը նույն եռանդով ձեռնամուխ կլինի այդ կարևոր առաքելությանը՝ իր ներդրումը բերելով ՀՀ-ԵՄ կապերի հետագա խորացման գործին:

Տրայան Հրիսթեային Հանրապետության նախագահը մաղթել է հաջողություն և նոր ձեռքբերումներ հետագա գործունեության մեջ: Նախագահը գոհունակությամբ է նշել, որ դեսպան Հրիսթեայի պաշտոնավարման անցած չորս տարիներին մեր երկրի համագործակցությունը Եվրամիության, Եվրոպական կառույցների հետ, չնայած աշխարհաքաղաքական վայրիվերումներին, շատ ակտիվ և արգասաբեր է եղել՝ նպաստելով ԵՄ հետ Հայաստանի համագործակցության ընդլայնմանն ու ակտիվ փոխգործակցությանն ամենատարբեր ոլորտներում:

«Ես համարում եմ, որ մենք աշխատել ենք անկեղծ, ազնիվ և բաց ու կարողացել ենք ստանալ առավելագույնը համագործակցության այս ժամանակահատվածում՝ անցնելով մեծ ճանապարհ և կուտակելով զգալի փորձ հետագա փոխգործակցության համար»,- ասել է Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն՝ ընդգծելով, որ Հայաստանը հանձնառու է շարունակել ԵՄ-ի հետ համագործակցությամբ սկսած բարեփոխումները:

Դեսպան Տրայան Հրիսթեան շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Նախագահին՝ իր աշխատանքին տված գնահատականի և ջերմ խոսքերի համար, նշելով, որ դրանք ընկալում է առաջին հերթին որպես գնահատանքի խոսքեր ԵՄ-ի և ՀՀ-ի միջև հաստատված երկկողմ հարաբերությունների կապակցությամբ:

Արդյունավետ համագործակցությունը և բոլոր հնարավոր մակարդակներում ձևավորված ակտիվ երկխոսությունը դեսպան Հրիսթեան պայմանավորել է նաև այն ընդհանուր արժեքներով, որ ունեն Հայաստանը և Եվրոպական միությունը: Նա վերահաստատել է ԵՄ հանձնառությունը՝ բարեփոխումների ուղղությամբ շոշափելի արդյունքների հասնելու գործում շարունակելու և զարգացնելու Հայաստանի հետ սերտ համագործակցությունն ու երկխոսությունը:

Հանդիպման ավարտին Տրայան Հրիսթեան վստահեցրել է, որ որտեղ էլ լինի, Հայաստանը մնալու է իր սրտում, և նշել, որ մեր երկրից հեռանում է լավագույն ու ջերմ հիշողություններով:
