Արթուր Տեր-Մելիքսեթյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.
1944՝ Սովետական Միությունում սկսվում է չեչենների և ինգուշների տեղահանությունը դեպի Կենտրոնական Ասիա:
Ներկայում չեչենների մեծամասնությունը ապրում է Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության տարածքում, հիմնականում Չեչնիայի Հանրապետությունում։ Չեչենների պատմության մեջ եղել է մի քանի բնակեցում։
1865 թվականի Կովկասյան պատերազմից հետո մոտավորապես 5000 չեչենական ընտանիքներ տեղափոխվեցին Օսմանյան կայրության տարածք և այդ շարժումը սկսեցին կոչել մուհաջիրություն: Այսօր այդ մուհաջիրների ժառանգներն էլ կազմում են Թուրքիայի, Սիրիայի և Հորդանանի չեչենական սփյուռքի հիմնական մասը։
1944 թվականի փետրվարին ավելի քանի կես միլիոն չեչեններ տեղահանվել են իրենց մշտական ապրելավայրերից և բնակեցվել Միջին Ասիայում։ 1957 թվականի հունվարի 9 -ին չեչեններին թույլատրվել է վերադառնալ իրենց կովկասյան ապրելավայրերը, սակայն ազգի որոշ մասը մնացել է Ղազախստանում և Ղրղզստանում։
Առաջին և Երկրոդ չեչենական պատերազմներից հետո շատ չեչեններ լքել են Ռուսաստանը և տեղափոխվել Արևմտյան Եվրոպա, Թուրքիա և արաբական երկրներ։ Նաև ավելացել է Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության մյուս շրջանների չեչենական սփյուռքը։

Ինգուշները (ինքնանվանում ինգուշ՝ ГIалгIай, Ղալղայ) վայնախյան ազգ է Հյուսիսային Կովկասում։ Խոսում են հյուսիսկովկասյան ընտանիքի նախյան խմբի ինգուշերեն լեզվով, գիրը կիրիլականի հիման վրա է։ Ընդհանուր թիվը աշխարհում մոտավորապես 700 հազար մարդ է, որոնցից 525 հազարը ապրում են Ռուսաստանի Դաշնությունում, հենց Ինգուշեթիայում ապրում է ազգի հիմնական մասը՝ 436 հազար մարդ, ըստ 2009 թվականի։
Հյուսիսային Օսիայի Պրիգորոդնիյ շրջանում ապրում է 38 հազար ինգուշ։ Ռուսաստանից դուրս՝ Ղազախստանում - 35 հազար, Թուրքիայում - 30 հազար, Սիրիայում - 20 հազար, Լիբանանում - 20 հազար և Հորդանանում - 20 հազար մարդ։
Բացի այդ Թուրքիայում և Մերձավոր Արևելքի այլ երկրներում ապրում է ինգուշների մի ենթախումբ - ղարաբուլաղները (օրսթհոյները), որոնք մոտավորապես 350 հազար մարդ են կազմում։ Երբեմն նրան առանձին էթնոս են համարում։ Ռազմասեր ղարաբուլաղերնը մինչև XIX -րդ դարի վերջը զբաղեցնում էին Թերեքա-սունժենյան դաշտավայրի հողերը։
Կովկասյան պատերազմի ավարտումից հետո ղարաբուլաղների 2/3 մասը, այլ կովկասյան մուսուլմանական ժողովուրդների հետ, տեղափոխվել են Օսմանյան կայսրություն և առաջացրել մուհաջիրական շարժումը։ Ղարաբուլաղների մնացած մասը ձուլման է ենթարկվել ինգուշների և չեչենների կողմից։ Ղարաբուլաղների մայրենի լեզուն ինգուշերենն է։ Այդպիսով, ղարաբուլաղների հետ ինգուշների քանակը ամբողջ աշխարհում կազմում է 1 միլիոն մարդ։
