Արման Թաթոյանը պատկերացնում է ՄԻՊ-ի պաշտոնում հնարավոր բոլոր մարտահրավերներն ու դժվարությունները

Հայաստանի Հանրապետության մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի թեկնածու Արման Թաթոյանը պատկերացնում է բոլոր դժվարություններն ու խնդիրները, որոնք կարող են առաջանալ օմբուդսմենի պաշտոնում իր գործունեության ընթացքում: Այս մասին Ազգային ժողովում ՄԻՊ-ի ընտրության քննարկման ընթացքում ասաց Արման Թաթոյանը՝ պատասխանելով ԱԺ ԲՀԿ խմբակցության ղեկավար Նաիրա Զոհրաբյանի հարցին: «Ես արդեն ասել եմ, որ աշխատել եմ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի աշխատակազմում և շատ լավ պատկերացնում են բոլոր այն խնդիրներն ու դժվարությունները, որոնք կարող են առաջ գալ: Դրա համար ես առաջ եմ քաշել այնպիսի սկզբունքներ, աշխատանքի այնպիսի մեթոդներ, որոնք գործադրելու եղանակով ես հնարավորություն կունենամ ընտրվելու դեպքում պաշտոնավարել մինչև ժամկետի ավարտը»,- նշեց Արման Թաթոյանը:
Անդրադառնալով պատգամավորի մտահոգությանը, որ Թաթոյանը չի կարողանալու անկաշկանդ աշխատել, քանի որ նրա թեկնածությունը ներկայացրել է իշխող Հանրապետական խմբակցությունը՝ ՄԻՊ թեկնածուն պատասխանեց. «Այո, ինձ առաջադրել է խորհրդարանում քաղաքական մեծամասնություն կազմող խմբակցությունը, սակայն դա որևէ նշանակություն չի կարող ունենալ: Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանը պաշտպանված է այնքան ուժեղ սահմանադրական երաշխիքներով, իսկ աշխատանքի ճիշտ սկզբունքներ որդեգրելու դեպքում հնարավոր է հաղթահարել բոլոր դժվարությունները և մարտահրավերները: Ես ցանկանում եմ հատուկ ընդգծել, որ շատ կարևորում եմ նաև իմ բարոյական սկզբունքները: Ես իմ բոլոր աշխատանքներում աշխատել եմ գնալ մինչև վերջ, իսկ բարդությունների դեպքում մշտապես փորձել եմ գտնել դրանց լուծումները»:
Արման Թաթոյանը չհամաձայնեց Նաիրա Զոհրաբյանի դիտարկման հետ, թե արդարադատության փոխնախարարի պաշտոնը զբաղեցրած անձը, իշխանության ներկայացուցիչը չի կարող զբաղեցնել մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի պաշտոնը: Նա նկատեց, որ ամբողջ աշխարհքում ընդունված պրակտիկա է, որ գործադիրում աշխատած անձինք կարող են հետագայում զբաղվել իրավապաշտպան գործունեությամբ: «Արդարադատության նախարարությունում ես իրականացրել եմ բացարձակապես մասնագիտական աշխատանք: Ունեցել եմ բավարար ինքնուրույնություն, որպեսզի կարողանամ հասնել իմ կողմից առաջ քաշված խնդիրների լուծմանը»,- եզրափակեց նա:
