Եթե հավատանք սովետական գրքերին՝ երազների մասին, ապա եթե շուն եք տեսնում, ուրեմն ընկերներին կհանդիպեք, եթե խավարասերներ՝ փող կստանաք։ Սակայն եթե այդպես լինի, ուրեմն միլիոնավոր մարդիկ ամեն օր հարստանալու են եւ այլն։ Չի կարելի ամեն ինչ ընդհնարացնել։ Ահա հոգեբանները կարծում են, որ կան որոշակի տարածված երազներ, որոնք կոնկրետ նշանակություն ունեն։ Նրանք դա պարզել են՝ ուսումնասիրելով 200 000 հոգու։
 
Երազ՝ դու ընկնում եք

Երազը, որտեղ մարդ իրեն բացարձակ մերկ է տեսնում հասարակական վայրում, նշանակում է, որ նա ներքուստ ինչ-որ բանի համար ամոթի զգացում է ապրում իրական կյանքում։ Հաճախ կարող է մարդ անհարկի մեղադրանքներ լսի, ինչն էլ ներքին ամոթի զգացում առաջացնի, անգամ եթե նա դա չի գիտակցում։ Հենց սա էլ բերում է նման երազների։
 
Երազ՝ ձեր ատամներն ընկնում են
 
Սա պարզապես նշանակում է, որ դուք անհանգստանում եք ձեր արտաքինի համար, վախենում եք համակրելի տեսք չունենալ։ Սակայն այն նաեւ խորքային նշանակություն ունի, մասնագետներն ասում են, որ սա կարող է սթրեսի հետեւանք լինել, իսկ կանանց մոտ՝ հղիանալու ցանկություն։

Երազում դուք արքա եք, նախագահ կամ ինչ-որ կարեւոր ղեկավար․․․ Սա իրականում հասարակ ցանկություն է՝ ղեկավարելու, սեփական անկարողության գիտակցում։
 
Երազ՝ դուք թռչում եք
 
Մանուկ հասակում մեզ ծնողներն ասում էին՝ եթե թռչում եք երազում, ուրեմն մեծանում եք։ Իրականում ձեզ ուղղակի ազատություն է պակասում, դուք չեք կարողանում ձեր մեջ ուժ գտնել՝ ինքնուրույն ինչ որ բանի հասնելու։
 
Երազ՝ սիրելին դավաճանում է ձեզ
 
Սովորաբար, նման երազներ սկսում են տեսնել, երբ կորցնում են ինքնավստահությունն ու սեռական կարողությունների հետ խնդիրներ են առաջանում։

Ժողովուրդն ասում է՝ եթե նման երազ եք տեսել, երկար կապրեք։ Սակայն հոգեբանները նշում են՝ մահը բաժանում է, հետեւաբար՝ ենթագիտակցորեն ինչ-որ մեկից կամ ինչ-որ բանից ցանկանում եք բաժանվել, ազատվել, ցանկանում եք սկզբից սկսել, այդ պատճառով էլ նման երազներ եք տեսնում։
