«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Գետնանուշը (Arachis hypogaea) աշխարհում լայնորեն տարածված մշակաբույս է: Գետնանուշի սերմերը հարուստ են սպիտակուցներով, առողջ ճարպերով, վիտամին E-ով, B խմբի վիտամիններով: Գետնանուշի յուղը լայն տարածում ունի ԱՄՆ-ում և համարվում է էներգետիկ սնունդ։ Գետնանուշի սերմերը պարունակում են մինչև 60 % յուղ և մինչև 34 % սպիտակուց։ Յուղն օգտագործվում է սննդի, ինչպես նաև պահածոների, հրուշակեղենի և օծանելիքի արդյունաբերության մեջ։

Գետնանուշի հայրենիքը Հարավային Ամերիկան է (հատկապես Բրազիլիան և Պերուն)։ Մարդիկ այն սկսել են մշակել մոտ 7–8 հազար տարի առաջ, իսկ Եվրոպա է հասել 16-րդ դարում՝ իսպանացի և պորտուգալացի ծովագնացների միջոցով։

Այնուհետև այն տարածվել է Աֆրիկայում, Ասիայում և Հյուսիսային Ամերիկայում։

Գետնանուշը ծաղկում է հողի վրա, բայց պտուղները զարգանում են հողի տակ, ինչի պատճառով էլ այն հայերենում ստացել է իր անվանումը՝ գետին-ա-նուշ՝ գետնանուշ։ Իսկ ահա աշխարհում հայտնի անունը՝ «արախիս», գալիս է հուներեն համանուն բառից, որը նշանակում է սարդ. պատճառը նրա պտուղների նմանությունն է սարդին:

Հետաքրքիր է, որ չնայած իր անվանը, գետնանուշը ոչ թե ընկույզ է, այլ լոբազգի բույս։ Ունի մոտավորապես 70 տեսակ, որոնց մեծ մասը վայրի է։ Շատ տեսակներ աճում են հիմնականում Բրազիլիայում, միայն մի տեսակը՝ արդյունագործական գետնանուշը կամ հողային ընկույզն է (Arachis hypogaea) շատ հայտնի բոլոր երկրներում: Այն ունի մեծ արդյունաբերական նշանակություն, աճեցվում է հիմնականում Ամերիկայի, Ասիայի և Աֆրիկայի արևադարձային երկրներում, իսկ եվրոպական երկրներից՝ Իսպանիայում, Իտալիայում, Ուկրաինայում և Ֆրանսիայում։ Հայաստանում գետնանուշը լայնամասշտաբ չի մշակվում, բայց հնարավոր է աճեցնել, և մասնավոր հատվածում սեփական օգտագործման կամ անգամ հետաքրքրության համար աճեցվում է։ Մշակության համար ավելի հարմար են Արմավիրի և Արարատի մարզերը, պահանջում է տաք և արևոտ կլիմա, թեթև, ավազակավային հող, ունի մոտ 120–150 օր աճման շրջան: Գետնանուշի մեկ բույսը կարող է տալ մինչև 40 պտուղ, իսկ ցողուններով կարելի է կերակրել անասուններին։ Գետնանուշի միջին բերքը ոռոգվող հողերում կազմում է 10-12 ց/հա, սակայն բարենպաստ պայմաններում և բարձր ագրոտեխնիկայի դեպքում բերքը հասնում է 35 ց/հա և ավելի։ Գետնանուշը նաև հարստացնում է հողը ազոտով՝ օգտակար լինելով գյուղատնտեսությանը։

Հայաստան գետնանուշ հիմնականում ներմուծվում է Իրանից, Չինաստանից, Հնդկաստանից և օգտագործվում է թե՛ որպես ուտելի ընկույզ, թե՛ հրուշակեղենի մեջ, թե՛ ձեթի արտադրության համար:
