Գործարան, որտեղ մշտապես աշխատում է ընդամենը... 16 մարդ. «Փաստ»
ՀԱՆՐԱՀԱՅՏ ՄՈԼՈՐՈՒԹՅՈՒՆՆԵՐ
«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
Գլենմորանժը (Glenmorangie) հյուսիսային Շոտլանդիայի ամենահայտնի թորման գործարաններից մեկն է: Այն գտնվում է Թանե քաղաքում, որտեղ դեռ միջնադարում էր գարեջրի արտադրություն սկսվել։ Դա հաստատում է 1843 թվականին Մաթեսոն եղբայրների կողմից կատարված գնումը։ Նրանք գնել են գարեջրի գործարան, որն այդ տարիներին արդեն շատ հին էր համարվում։ Հենց այդ գործարանում են եղբայրները սկսել վիսկի արտադրել Glenmorange անվամբ։ Հաջորդ հիսուն տարվա ընթացքում Մաթեսոնների թորման գործարանում արտադրված վիսկին հայտնի էր միայն շրջակա բնակավայրերում: Սակայն 19-րդ դարի վերջում Թանե և, դրա հետ միասին, եղբայրների թորման գործարան մուտք գործեց երկաթուղին, ինչը թույլ տվեց այդ ձեռնարկությանը հասնել մեկ այլ մակարդակի։
1918 թվականին թորման գործարանը գնեց MacDonald & Muir ընկերությունը, որը հույս ուներ Glenmorangie ապրանքանիշի օգնությամբ բարձրացնել իր հեղինակությունը արտասահմանում։ Եվ պետք է հարգանքի տուրք մատուցել թորման գործարանի նոր ղեկավարությանը. նրանք չփոխեցին վիսկիի արտադրության տեխնոլոգիան՝ պահպանելով այն բարձր չափանիշները, որոնք սահմանել էին Մաթեսոն եղբայրները։ Միևնույն ժամանակ, արտադրության ծավալները անշեղորեն աճեցին։ Նախ՝ 1979-ին, ապա՝ 1993ին Գլենմորանժ վիսկիի արտադրությունը կրկնապատկվել է, իսկ 1980-ին տեղի է ունեցել արտադրության թանկարժեք արդիականացում, որի ընթացքում արտադրական հզորությունները զգալիորեն ավելացվել են։ Չնայած նման արագ աճին, արտադրանքի որակն ընդհանրապես չի տուժել։ Ավելին, Անգլիայի թագուհին Գլենմորանժ թորման գործարան կատարած այցի ժամանակ առանձնահատուկ ուշադրությամբ նշել է արտադրության ավանդույթները պահպանելու ղեկավարության ցանկությունը։
Հարկ է նշել նաև մեկ հետաքրքիր ավանդույթ. 150 տարվա ընթացքում Գլենմորանժի թորման արտադրամասում միշտ աշխատել է 16 աշխատող։ Եվ արտադրության ոչ մի ընդլայնում չի ազդել այդ ավանդույթի վրա։ Բացի դա, վիսկիի արտադրության տեխնոլոգիան չի փոխվել 1880 թվականից ի վեր, երբ թորման գործարանում տեղադրվեցին կոր վզով հինգ մետրանոց թորման տարաներ։ Դրանք այսօր էլ օգտագործվում են։ Այդ թորման տարաների հատուկ կառուցվածքի շնորհիվ թորման թեթև ֆրակցիաները բարձրանում են վերև, իսկ ծանր ֆրակցիաները մնում են ներքևում։ Նաև ընդհանուր թորվածքի միայն մեկ երրորդն է դառնում Glenmorange վիսկի:
Այսօր այդ ընկերությունն արտադրում է վիսկիի մի քանի տեսակ, որոնք տարբերվում են հիմնականում իրենց հնեցմամբ։ Առանձին հարկ է նշել 18 տարվա հնեցման Glenmorangie վիսկին, որը սկսել է արտադրվել միայն 1990 թվականին։ Դրա առանձնահատկություններից է, այսպես կոչված, Ռոսշիրյան գարու օգտագործումը, որը ընդունված է չորացնել տորֆի վրա։ Այդ գարին խմիչքին տալիս է թեթև ծխային բուրմունք:
