Կորոնավիրուսի համավարակը փոխեց աշխարհը՝ առողջապահությունից մինչև քաղաքականություն ու տեղեկատվական անվտանգություն։ Տարիներ անց էլ շարունակում է շրջանառվել ամենագլխավոր հարցը՝ արդյոք COVID-19-ը դիտմամբ էր ստեղծվել, թե այն բնական ճանապարհով առաջացած վիրուս էր, որի դեմ մարդկությունը պարզապես պատրաստ չէր պայքարել։

Ինչ է ասում գիտությունը
Գիտական հանրության մեծ մասը համակարծիք է, որ SARS-CoV-2-ը պատկանում է կորոնավիրուսների այն խմբին, որոնք բնականորեն շրջանառվում են կենդանիների շրջանում։ Նախկինում էլ մարդկությունը բախվել է նմանատիպ դեպքերի՝ SARS (2002) և MERS (2012), որոնք նույնպես կենդանուց մարդ փոխանցված վիրուսներ էին։ Վիրուսի գենետիկական կառուցվածքի լայն ուսումնասիրությունները չեն հայտնաբերել այնպիսի հստակ «արհեստական նշաններ», որոնք կվկայեին նպատակային ստեղծման մասին։

Լաբորատոր արտահոսքի վարկածը
Միաժամանակ քննարկվում է նաև լաբորատոր արտահոսքի վարկածը՝ ենթադրելով, որ վիրուսը կարող էր պատահաբար դուրս գալ հետազոտական միջավայրից։ Սակայն մինչ օրս հրապարակված տվյալները չեն տալիս միանշանակ ապացույցներ, որոնք կհաստատեն, որ վիրուսը ստեղծվել կամ փոփոխվել է դիտմամբ՝ որպես կենսաբանական զենք կամ ծրագրված փորձ։

Ինչու են ծագում կասկածներն ու դավադրությունները
Համավարակի սկզբնական փուլում տեղեկատվության պակասը, հակասական հաղորդագրությունները, քաղաքական շահերի բախումը և սոցիալական ցանցերում արագ տարածվող ապատեղեկատվությունը նպաստեցին դավադրական տեսությունների աճին։ Դիմակները, սահմանափակումները և պատվաստումները շատերի համար դարձան ոչ միայն բժշկական, այլև հոգեբանական ու սոցիալական ճնշման խորհրդանիշներ։

Այսօր հասանելի տվյալների հիման վրա չկա ապացույց, որ կորոնավիրուսը դիտմամբ է ստեղծվել։ Ավելի հավանական է համարվում բնական ծագումը՝ հնարավոր միջանկյալ փոխանցմամբ կենդանուց մարդ։ Սակայն համավարակը բացահայտեց մեկ այլ իրականություն՝ որքան խոցելի է մարդկությունը նոր վարակների, տեղեկատվական քաոսի և վստահության ճգնաժամի առաջ։

Կորոնավիրուսի «դիմակի տակ» թաքնված էր ոչ թե գաղտնի ծրագիր, այլ ժամանակակից աշխարհի պատրաստվածության լուրջ փորձություն, որի դասերը դեռ երկար պետք է ուսումնասիրվեն։
