Քաղաքական գիտությունների դոկտոր, պրոֆեսոր, էներգետիկ անվտանգության փորձագետ Վահե Դավթյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է․ «Բաքու-Թբիլիսի-Կարս (ԲԹԿ) երկաթուղու ցուցանիշները հարցականի տակ են դնում այսպես կոչված «Զանգեզուրյան միջանցքի» վերաբերյալ Ալիևի պնդումները: ԲԹԿ երկաթուղով 2025 թ. առաջին յոթ ամիսներին տեղափոխվել է 250 հազ. տոննա բեռ։ Տարվա վերջում այդ թիվը, ըստ կանխատեսումների, կարող է հասնել առավելագույնը 500 հազարի։ Եվ դա 6.5 մլն տոննա թողունակության պարագայում:

Այս ֆոնին խիստ վիճարկելի են Իլհամ Ալիևի՝ այսպես կոչված «Զանգեզուրյան միջանցքի» վերաբերյալ գնահատականները։

Վերջերս կայացած աղմկահարույց մեդիաֆորումին նա հայտարարել էր, որ հնարավոր է միջանցքով տարեկան մինչև 15 մլն տոննա բեռափոխադրում իրականացնել: Էքստրապոլյացիայի մեթոդի կիրառումը ցույց է տալիս՝ ԲԹԿ օրինակը կարևոր է հենց այն պատճառով, որ շահագործվում է համեմատաբար կայուն ու կանխատեսելի միջավայրում։

Այդուհանդերձ, թուրք-ադրբեջանական փոխադրումների ծավալը այս ուղղությամբ, մեղմ ասած, չի արդարացնում տարիներ շարունակ հնչեցվող սպասելիքները։

Գալիս ենք մի եզրակացության, որը ինքս բազմիցս եմ հնչեցրել՝ այսպես կոչված «Զանգեզուրյան միջանցքի» նպատակը տնտեսական կապերի դիվերսիֆիկացումը չէ։ Եթե հարցը դիտարկվեր առևտրային կապերի ու կոմերցիոն բեռնափոխադրումների շրջանակում, ապա Անկարան և Բաքուն կհամաձայնեին Թեհրանի առաջարկած «Արաքսի միջանցքի» շուրջ համագործակցությանը։ Թեհրանը ներկայում բաց է նման ձևաչափի քննարկման համար՝ նաև տարանցման որոշակի արտոնյալ պայմանների տրամադրման մասով:

Այսպես կոչված «Զանգեզուրյան միջանցքի» իրական նպատակն է Նախիջևանի ռազմականացումը, հակաիրանական պլացդարմի ձևավորումը Հարավային Կովկասում, «Հյուսիս–Հարավ» միջանցքի կովկասյան հատվածի արգելափակումը՝ Ռուսաստանի հետագա դուրսմղմամբ տարածաշրջանից: Այստեղից էլ՝ Վաշինգտոնի այսքան մեծ հետաքրքրվածությունը նախագծով:

Հարավային Կովկասում ներկայումս ձևավորվող հակառուսական առանցքն առավել քան տեղավորվում է այս նպատակադրման մեջ»:
