Սիրիան կանգնած է ճգնաժամի նոր փուլի առաջ: Դա պայմանավորված է այն հանգամանքով, որ Սիրիայում նախատեսվում է տեղակայել նոր ցամաքային ուժեր: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ի մամուլի սրահում հրավիրված ասուլիսում նշեց ՀՀ ԳԱԱ արևելագիտության ինստիտուտի տնօրեն, թուրքագետ Ռուբեն Սաֆրաստյանը:

«Խոսքն առաջին հերթին վերաբերում է Սաուդյան Արաբիային, որը պաշտոնապես հայտարարել է, թե պատրաստ է մի քանի հազար զինյալ տեղակայել Սիրիայի տարածքում: Մոտակա օրերին Բրյուսելում ԱՄՆ-ի ու Սաուդյան Արաբիայի միջև պետք է սկսվեն ուղղակի բանակցություններն այդ խնդիրն իրականություն դարձնելու համար»,-ասաց Ռուբեն Սաֆրաստյանը:

Դրանից բացի, վերջին օրերին ավելի շատ են տեղեկություններ ստացվում այն մասին, որ թուրք-սիրիական սահմանին Թուրքիայի զինված ուժերի կուտակում է նկատվում: Ըստ Ռուբեն Սաֆրաստյանի` տեսնում ենք, որ Թուրքիան այդ հատվածում զինված ստորաբաժանումներ տեղակայելու մեծ  ցանկություն ունի: Ամերիկյան կոալիցիան շատ լրջորեն է քննարկում` Սիրիայում օտար երկրների զինյալներ տեղակայելու հնարավորությունը: Սրանով, ըստ թուրքագետի, սիրիական ճգնաժամի նոր փուլ  է սկսվում:

Անդրադառնալով Թուրքիայի հաշվարկներին՝ Ռուբեն Սաֆրաստյանը նշեց, որ թուրքական քաղաքականությունը Սիրիայում արդեն գտնվում է իրեն իսպառ վերացնելու վտանգի առջև: «Այն խնդիրները, որ թուրքերը դրել էին իրենց առաջ` մխրճվելով սիրիական ճգնաժամի մեջ ի սկզբանե չլուծվեցին: Տեսնում ենք, որ Սիրիայի նախագահ Բաշար ալ Ասադը գնալով ուժեղացնում է իր դիրքերը, «Իսլամական պետությունը» ոչ միայն թուլանում է, ալև գործողություններ է սկսում Թուրքիայի դեմ: Սիրիայի սահմանամերձ շրջաններում հաստատված Թուրքիայի հովանավորյալ խմբավորումներն էլ պարտություն են կրում: Այս ամենը խոսում է այն մասին, որ Թուրքիան կորցնում է իր վերահսկողությունը այն հատվածի վրա, որն իրեն հնարավորություն է տալիս ազդեցություն ունենալ սիրիական ճգնաժամում: Իսկապես շատ ծանր վիճակում է հայտնվել Թուրքիան»,-ասաց թուրքագետը:

Հաշվի առնելով այն, որ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը իռացիոնալ քայլերի կողմնակից է, թուրքագետի կարծիքով, հնարավոր է մոտ ապագայում ականատեսը լինենք  Սիրիայի հյուսիսային հատվածում Թուրքիայի կողմից ռազմական գործությունների իրականացմանը:

«Թուրքիայի արտաքին քաղաքականությունը շատ է փոխվել: Նախկինում պաշտոնական Անկարան այսքան սանձարձակ չէր պահում իրեն: Ի դեպ, ոչ նախանձելի  իրավիճակ է Թուրքիայի ներսում: Թուրքիան գտնվում է իր նորագույն պատմության ամենածանր փուլի եզրին: Լուրջ խնդիրներ կան քրդերի հետ կապված, որոնք գնալով սրվում են: Որոշ շրջաններում քաոսային վիճակ է, իսկ իշխանություններն էլ այդ հատվածներում կորցնում են իրենց ազդեցությունը»,-ասաց Ռուբեն Սաֆրաստյանը` նշելով, որ դա շատ վտանգավոր է երկրի կայունության համար:
