Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են էներգետիկ հարցեր և հատկապես կանաչ էներգիայի զարգացման հեռանկարները։ Այս մասին Գերմանիայի նախագահի հետ համատեղ ասուլիսի ժամանակ հայտարարեց ՀՀ նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանը։
«Գերմանական KFW ֆինանսական կազմակերպության հետ արդեն ծրագիր կա ավարտին հասցնել դեպի Վրաստան էլեկտրահաղորդման նոր գծերի կառուցումը։
Քննարկվել են տնտեսական հարցեր և Հարավային Կովկասից Եվրամիություն էլեկտրաէներգիա արտահանելու հնարավորությունը։
Քննարկումների ընթացքում օրակարգում ընդգրկվել է նաեւ սեւծովյան էլեկտրամալուխի հարցը։ Կարծում եմ, որ ապագայում Գերմանիայի օգնության և ԵՄ գործընկերների աջակցության շնորհիվ մենք կկարողանանք դառնալ այս նախագծի մի մասը։
Այսօր Հայաստանի էներգետիկ հաշվեկշռում կանաչ էներգիայի տեսակարար կշիռը կազմում է մոտ 40%, և այդ տեսակարար կշիռը կաճի։ Մենք կունենանք էլեկտրաէներգիայի ավելցուկ, և մեզ անհրաժեշտ կլինի այն արտահանել»,- հավելեց Խաչատուրյանը։
Բացի այդ, նա նշեց, որ կողմերը քննարկել են երկու երկրների միջև առևտրատնտեսական հարաբերությունների ընդլայնման հնարավորությունը։
«Մենք գոհունակությամբ արձանագրեցինք, որ Գերմանիան Հայաստանի հիմնական առևտրային գործընկերներից մեկն է՝ առաջինը Եվրամիության երկրներից։
Մենք բարձր ենք գնահատում Գերմանիայի շարունակական աջակցությունը Հայաստանին` խթանելու կայուն տնտեսական և սոցիալական զարգացումը բազմաթիվ առաջնահերթ ոլորտներում, ներառյալ կրթությունը, վերականգնվող էներգիան և ենթակառուցվածքները: Ես նաև շնորհակալություն հայտնեցի Գերմանիային Հայաստանում ժողովրդավարական բարեփոխումներին երկարամյա աջակցության համար։
Անդրադարձանք տարածաշրջանային զարգացմանն առնչվող մի շարք հարցերի՝ ընդգծելով միջազգային իրավունքի հիման վրա առկա հակամարտությունների խաղաղ կարգավորման և բոլոր երկրների ինքնիշխանության, տարածքային ամբողջականության և իրավահավասարության սկզբունքների հարգման անհրաժեշտությունը։
Մենք ընդգծեցինք Գերմանիայի կառավարության կողմից Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև հարաբերությունների կարգավորմանն ուղղված ջանքերին ցուցաբերվող հետևողական աջակցությունը։
Ես իմ գործընկերոջը ներկայացրել եմ Հարավային Կովկասում կայունության և խաղաղության հաստատման ուղղությամբ Հայաստանի կողմից իրականացվող աշխատանքները։ «Ես ևս մեկ անգամ ընդգծեցի տարածաշրջանային ենթակառուցվածքների ապաշրջափակման կարևորությունը այս համատեքստում «Խաղաղության խաչմերուկ» նախագիծը»,- նշել է ՀՀ նախագահը։
