Գիտնականները Կովկասում «մեգաամրոց» են հայտնաբերել

Մեծ Բրիտանիայից և Վրաստանից հնագետները անհավանական բացահայտում են արել հարավային Վրաստանում․ օգտագործելով անօդաչու թռչող սարքեր՝ նրանք հայտնաբերել են, որ 3000-ամյա Դմանիսի ամրոցը շատ ավելի մեծ է, քան նախկինում ենթադրվում էր: Մեկ կիլոմետր ձգվող արտաքին պատը զբաղեցնում է հսկայական տարածք՝ կառույցը դարձնելով իր ժամանակի իսկական «մեգապոլիս»։ Այս մասին գրում է Archeology News-ը։
Հետազոտությունները ցույց են տվել, որ ամրոցի տարածքը 40 անգամով գերազանցում է նախկին հաշվարկները՝ հաղորդում է Planet Today-ը։ Օդային լուսանկարչությունից ստացված տվյալների հիման վրա գիտնականները ստեղծել են այս զարմանալի օբյեկտի եռաչափ մոդելը:
Անօդաչու թռչող սարքը ոչ միայն օգնել է որոշել ամրոցի չափերը, այլև հայտնաբերել հնագույն գերեզմանատներ,գյուղատնտեսական դաշտերի ավերակներ և հետքեր: Հետազոտողների ուշադրությանն է արժանացել բարդ երկաստիճան պաշտպանական համակարգը, սակայն նրանք դեռևս չեն կարող բացատրել, թե ինչու էր անհրաժեշտ նման լայնածավալ ամրություններ կառուցել:
Մյուս առեղծվածը բնակավայրի արտաքին մասում արտեֆակտների գրեթե իսպառ բացակայությունն է։ Սա խոսում է այն մասին, որ բերդը օգտագործվել է սեզոնային եղանակով, օրինակ՝ որպես հովիվների կանգառի վայր։
Պեղումների ընթացքում հայտնաբերվել են խեցեղենի, կենդանիների ոսկորների և այլ արտեֆակտների հազարավոր բեկորներ, որոնք կարող են լույս սփռել հին հասարակության կյանքի վրա։ Գիտնականները հույս ունեն պարզելու, թե ինչպես է բնակչությունը փոխազդել քոչվորների հետ և ինչպես է զարգացել գյուղատնտեսությունը Կովկասում բրոնզի և վաղ երկաթի դարերում:
Չնայած բոլոր գտածոներին, «մեգաամրոցի» նպատակը մնում է առեղծված: Արդյո՞ք դրա մասշտաբները արտացոլում էին հին տիրակալների հավակնությունները, թե՞ դա նստակյաց և քոչվոր ապրելակերպի փոխազդեցության եզակի օրինակ է: Այս հարցերի պատասխանները, ինչպես Դմանիսիի գաղտնիքները, դեռ թաքնված են պատմության խորքում։
