Հայկական ծագման մասին Հերոդոտոսի տեսությունը հերքվել է գենոմի առաջին ամբողջական ուսումնասիրության արդյունքում

Հայերը՝ Արևմտյան Ասիայի բնակիչները, որոնք պատմականորեն բնակեցվել են Հայկական լեռնաշխարհում, վաղուց համարվում էին Բալկաններից եկած փռյուգիացի վերաբնակիչների ժառանգները։ Այս տեսությունը մեծ մասամբ առաջացել է հույն պատմիչ Հերոդոտոսի պատմություններից, ով նշել է, որ հայերը պարսկական բանակում ծառայելիս զինվել են ֆռյուգիական օրինակով։ Լեզվաբանները նույնպես պաշտպանել են այս տեսությունը՝ ենթադրելով, որ հայերենը կապեր ունի հնդեվրոպական լեզուների թրակոֆրիգիական ենթախմբի հետ, գրում է Phys.org-ը։
Սակայն գենոմի առաջին ամբողջական ուսումնասիրությունը մարտահրավեր է նետում այս վաղեմի համոզմունքին` չգտնելով ոչ մի էական գենետիկ կապ հայերի և Բալկանյան տարածաշրջանի բնակչության միջև: Հետազոտությունը համեմատում է նորաստեղծ ժամանակակից հայկական գենոմները և Հայկական լեռնաշխարհի հնագույն մարդկանց հրապարակված գենետիկական տվյալները Բալկանների՝ ինչպես ժամանակակից, այնպես էլ հնագույն գենոմների հետ:
«Դարեր շարունակ պատմական հավատալիքները ձևավորել են անցյալի մեր ըմբռնումը, ինչը հաճախ մեզ ստիպում է ընդունել տեսությունները որպես ճշմարտություն», - ասում է հետազոտության հեղինակ Անահիտ Հովհաննիսյանը՝ Դուբլինի Թրինիթի քոլեջի գենետիկայի և մանրէաբանության դպրոցի անդամը:
«Սակայն, ամբողջական գենոմի հաջորդականության գալուստով և հնագույն ԴՆԹ հետազոտությունների զարգացմամբ, մենք այժմ կարող ենք կասկածի տակ դնել և վերանայել այս վաղեմի գաղափարները՝ բացահայտելով մարդկային բնակչության պատմության շատ ավելի գիտականորեն տեղեկացված տեսակետ»:
Հետազոտողները հերքել են նաև մեկ այլ համոզմունք՝ պնդումները սասունցիների՝ Հայկական լեռնաշխարհի հարավային մասում (ժամանակակից հարավ-արևելյան Թուրքիա) բնակեցված հայ բնակչության ասորական ծագման մասին: Այս կապը հիշատակվել է բազմաթիվ պատմական աղբյուրներում, ներառյալ Աստվածաշունչը, սեպագիր տեքստերը և տեղական ավանդական պատմությունները: Փոխարենը, նրանք պարզել են, որ ոչ վաղ անցյալում սասունցիները քանակի զգալի անկում են ապրել, ինչը նրանց առանձնացնում է այլ պոպուլյացիաներից:
«Հայկական լեռնաշխարհում գենետիկական շարունակականությունը ստուգելով՝ մենք եկանք այն եզրակացության, որ վաղ բրոնզի դարից հետո Մերձավոր Արևելքում լայնածավալ շարժում է եղել:
Հարցերը, թե որտեղից և երբ է այն եկել, և ինչն է առաջացրել միգրացիայի նման լայնածավալ ալիք, դեռեւս մնում են անպատասխան», - ասում է Քեմբրիջի համալսարանի պրոֆեսոր Անդրեա Մանիկան:
Հետազոտողները նաև լույս են սփռել հայկական տարբեր խմբերի բնակչության կառուցվածքի և գենետիկական փոփոխության վրա՝ պարզելով, որ Հայկական լեռնաշխարհի արևելյան, արևմտյան և կենտրոնական մասերի պոպուլյացիաները համեմատաբար բարձր նմանություն ունեն:
«Սա առաջին հետազոտությունն է, որը փորձում է կազմել Հայկական լեռնաշխարհի գենետիկական ատլասը»,- ասում է ՀՀ ԳԱԱ Մոլեկուլային կենսաբանության ինստիտուտի պրոֆեսոր, հրապարակման համահեղինակ Լևոն Եպիսկոպոսյանը։
