Այն, ինչ հայտնաբերեցին գիտնականները Չերնոբիլի անտառներում, շոկի ենթարկեց գիտական աշխարհը (լուսանկարներ)

1986 թվականի ապրիլի 26-ը ողբերգական օր էր Խորհրդային Միության ու ամբողջ աշխարհի համար։ Հենց այդ օրը տեղի ունեցավ Չերնոբիլի ատոմակայանի հայտնի վթարը, որի արդյունքում հսկայական տարածքներ ատոմային էլեկտրակայանի շուրջ հայտարարվեց օտարեցման գոտի։ Վերջերս գիտնականները մի ծրագիր ձեռնարկեցին, որի նպատակն էր պարզել, թե ինչպիսին է լքված այդ վայրերի ֆաունան ու պարզվեց, որ մարդկանց առկայությունը շատ ավելի վատ է ազդումմ կենդանական աշխարհի վրա, քան ճառագայթումը։ Այնտեղ հայտնաբերեցին այնպիսի կենդանատեսակներ, որոնց վերջին հարյուր տարվա մեջ գրեթե անհնար էր տեսնել։ Ձեզ ենք ներկաայացնում այդ հետազոտության միջանկյալ արդյունքները։

Վերջին 30 տարում կենդանիների գլխաքանակը օտարեցման գոտում անգամներով բարձրացել է, իսկ դա թույլ էտալիս պնդել, որ ճառագայթումն այդքան շատ վնաս չի պատճառում կենդանական աշխարհին, որքան մարդու ներգործությունը։

Գիտնականները հետևում էին կենդանիներին թարմ ձյան վրա թողած նրանց հետքերով, ինչպես նաև այդ տարածքքի տարբեր կետերում տեղադրված 42 տեսախցիկներով։

Հետազոտությունները թույլ տվեցին պարզել, որ չերնոբիլյան անտառներում էապես աճել է վայրի վարազների, գայլերի, աղվեսների և այլ կենդանիների գլխաքանակը։

 

Բացի դրանիից, այստեղ հայտնաբերեցին մի շարք խիստ հազվադեպ կենդանատեսակների, որոնք երկա՜ր տարիներ չէին երևացել այս կողմերում․ եվրոպական լուսան ու կարմիր արջ։

Պորտսմուտի համալսարանի պրոֆեսոր Ջիմ Միթը պնդում է, որ այդ վթարը ակամայից ստեղծել է արգելոցի պես մի բան․

«Մենք չենք պնդում, որ ճառագայթումը լավ բան է, սակայն մարդու ազդեցության բացակայությունը թույլ է տվել, որպեսզի կենդանիների պոպուլյյացիան վերականգնվի ու դրան նույնիսկ ճառագայթումը չի խանգարել»։

Չերնոբիլյան անտառներում հաջողվել է նույնիսկ այնպիսի բացառիկ կենդաննատեսաների լուսանկարել, ինչպիսիք են Պռժևալսկու ձին և զուրբրեր։

Հետևությունը պարզ է․ մարդը բնությանը շատ ավելի մեծ վնաս է տալիս, քան ռադիոակտիվ ախտահարումը ու սրա շարջ արժե և պետք է մտածեն բոլորը։
