Արագածյան (դե, Արարատը արդեն մեծն Փաշինյանն արգելել է) դաշտի վրա բացվում էր մայիսյան շքեղ առավոտներից մեկը: Արևը շողում էր, բայց սառը, դողահարույց քամիներ էին փչում: Բազմույթն ինքնամոռաց քննարկում էր... տխուր աչքերով երգեր արտասանող մի անձնավորության մեղադրանքներն առ այն, որ Կոմիտասը ժամանակին ջնջել է մուղամի նոտաներն ու համաշխարհային երաժշտության այդ անկրկնելի գոհարը դաժանաբար խլել մեզանից: Ճիշտ է, այդ դեպքում հարց է ծագում, թե «մենք» ասելով՝ արտասանաերգողն ո՞ւմ կամ ի՞նչ ազգության նկատի ունի, եթե «մուղամն» իրենն է համարում: Այ, այս կարգի բուռն քննարկումներ էին ծավալվել ու շարունակում են ծավալվել:

Ընդամենը մի քանի ժամ, առավելագույնը՝ մեկ օր: Բավական էր, որ «կողքից» Կոմիտասի մասին վերը կիսամեջբերյալ արտահայտությունը հնչեր եթերում, շատերը համերաշխորեն շեղվեցին դեպի այդ կողմ: Իբր դա քիչ էր, Իտալիայում էլ բռնեցին ու համարյա 3 տոննա կոկային հայտնաբերեցին Էկվադորից Հայաստան ուղարկվող մի քանի տասնյակ տոննա բանանի արկղերի միջակայքում: Նման աննախադեպ խմբաքանակի թեման անհնար էր բաց թողնել: Միանշանակ: Ու էլ ի՜նչ Արցախ, ի՜նչ Բրյուսել, ի՜նչ մնացած ամեն ինչ: Միայն՝ սուպեր կոկային ու մուղամ Սարգիս: Դե, երեկվա մի տոննան էլ՝ համարեք լուրջ հավելում... Ու դուք ուզում եք, որ «մեկ օրվա հիշողությամբ» ինչ-որ բանի հասնե՞նք: Չէ, իհարկե, դեռ անհույս չէ, բայց, համաձայնեք, չափազանց տխուր է...
