ՀԱՅ-ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆ
1858-Մաթեոս Ա Կոնստանդնուպոլսեցին ընտրվել է Ամենայն հայոց կաթողիկոս։
1895-ծնվել է հայ զինվորական գործիչ, գվարդիայի գնդապետ, դիվիզիայի հրամանատար Սմբատ Դանիել յանը։
1966-վախճանվել է բանաստեղծ, արձակագիր, գրական-հասարակական գործիչ Վահրամ Ալազանը։
1979-ծնվել է արձակագիր, հրապարակախոս Արմեն Օհանյանը։
1988-Ստեփանակերտում և Երևանում տեղի են ունեցել բազմահազարանոց ցույցեր, իսկ Ստեփանակերտում՝ նաև գործադուլ՝ կապված սումգայիթյան դեպքերի հարցով կայացված մեղմ դատավճիռների հետ։
1992-Առաջին ղարաբաղյան պատերազմի ժամանակ հայկական զինված ուժերը գրավել են Հայաստանը Ղարաբաղին կապող Լաչինի միջանցքը։
2001-«Հայկական ավիաուղիներ» ընկերության՝ Թեհրանից Սարրի ուղևորված ՅԱԿ40 ինքնաթիռի վթարից զոհվել է ինքնաթիռի ողջ անձնակազմը, այդ թվում՝ ԻԻՀ տրանսպորտի նախարար Ռահման Դայմանը, փոխնախարարը, ԻԻՀ Մեջլիսի 6 պատգամավոր և նրանց ուղեկցող 22 պաշտոնատար անձ։
2006-Հայաստանի գիտությունների ազգային ակադեմիայի ընդհանուր ժողովում ակադեմիկոս Ռադիկ Մարտիրոսյանը ընտրվել է ԳԱԱ նախագահ։
2011-Երևանի Կոմիտասի անվան կամերային երաժշտության տանը մեկնարկել է ժամանակակից հայ կոմպոզիտորների ստեղծագործությունների համերգաշարը:
2014- կեսօրից հետո Երևանի Վերնիսաժում կրակոցներ են հնչել, ինչի հետևանքով հինգ հոգի հրազենային վիրավորում է ստացել։
ԱՇԽԱՐՀ
1215-անգլիական բարոնները, ապստամբություն սկսելով թագավոր Իոհան Անհողի դեմ, գրավել են Լոնդոնը։
1497-Վասկո դը Գամման հասել է Հնդկաստանի ափեր։
1510-վախճանվել է իտալացի նկարիչ Սանդրո Բոտիչելլին։ 1642-հիմնադրվել է Մոնրեալը։
1656-Ռուսաստանը պատերազմ է հայտարարել Շվեդիային։
1727-ռուսական գահին է բազմել Պետրոս 1-ինի անչափահաս որդի Պետրոս- 2-րդը։ 1742-Ֆրիդրիխ 2-րդը ջախջախել է ավստրիացիներին Սիլեզիայի Շոտուզիցայի ճակատամարտում։ 1792-ստեղծվել է Նյու Յորքի ֆոնդային բորսան:
1838-վախճանվել է ֆրանսիացի քաղաքական գործիչ և դիվանագետ Շառլ Մորիս դը Թալեյրանը։ 1861-Լոնդոնում առաջին անգամ ցուցադրվել է շոտլանդացի ֆիզիկ Ջեյմս Մաքսվելլի մեթոդով ստեղծված առաջին գունավոր լուսանկարը։
1885-Գերմանիան անեքսիայի է ենթարկել Նոր Գվինեան և Բիսմարկի արշիպելագը։
1887-սկսվել է Դոնբասի ածխահատների առաջին գործադուլը։
1904-ծնվել է կինոյի և թատրոնի ֆրանսիացի դերասան Ժան Գաբենը։
1916-Անգլիայում առաջին անգամ անցել են ամառային ժամանակի։
1917-Տրոցկին վերադարձել է Ռուսաստան, նրան և իր խմբին ընկերակցել են բոլ շևիկները։
1929 -Ֆիլադելֆիայում երկարատև փնտրտուքներից հետո ձերբակալվել է Ալ Կապոնեն։ -Կանադայում օդաչու Կոլդվելը փրկվելու համար առաջին անգամ օգտագործել է պարաշյուտը։
1940-Երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմի ժամանակ գերմանական բանակը գրավել է Բելգիայի մայրաքաղաք Բրյուսելը։
1946-ծնվել է ռուս քաղաքական գործիչ Գալինա Ստարովոյտովան։
1973-ԱՄՆ-ի Սենատը սկսել է լսումները Ուոլտերգեյթսի գործով։
1983-խաղաղության պայմանագիր է ստորագրվել Իսրայելի և Լիբիայի միջև։
1995-Ժնևում աճուրդում վաճառվել է «Դի» ալմաստը ռեկորդային գնով՝ 16 548 750 դոլար։
2004-ԱՄՆ-ի Մասաչուսեթս նահանգում թույլատրել են միասեռ ամուսնությունները:
