Փչացած ալյուրի հետևանքը՝ եգիպտացորենի փաթիլներ․ «Փաստ»
ՀԱՆՐԱՀԱՅՏ ՄՈԼՈՐՈՒԹՅՈՒՆՆԵՐ
«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է
Եգիպտացորենի փաթիլների պատմությունն սկիզբ է առել 19-րդ դարի սկզբում: Միչիգան նահանգի համանուն քաղաքի «Բաթլ-Կրիկ» առողջարանի սեփականատերերը՝ դոկտոր Ջոն Հարվի Քելլոգը, և նրա եղբայր Վիլլ Քիտ Քելլոգը եգիպտացորենի ալ յուրից ինչ-որ ուտեստ են պատրաստելիս եղել, երբ նրանց անհրաժեշտ է եղել առողջարանի որոշակի անհետաձգելի գործերի պատճառով դադարեցնել ուտեստի պատրաստումը: Երբ նրանք վերադարձել են, հայտնաբերել են, որ եգիպտացորենի ալ յուրը փչացել է: Քանի որ նրանց բյուջեն խիստ սահմանափակ է եղել, Քելլոգ եղբայրները, այնուամենայնիվ, որոշել են օգտագործել այդ ալ յուրը։
Նրանք խմոր են հունցել, բայց այն շաղվել է, և ստացվել են փաթիլներ ու գնդիկներ: Եղբայրները հուսահատությունից որոշել են բովել այդ փաթիլները, և պարզվել է, որ դրանց մի մասը դարձել է «օդային», իսկ մյուս մասը՝ խրթխրթան: Արդյունքում այդ փաթիլներն առաջարկվել են դոկտոր Ջոն Հարվի Քելլոգի հիվանդներին որպես նոր ուտեստ և մատուցվել կաթով ու զեֆիրով, որը դուր է եկել այն ճաշակողներին: Փաթիլներին շաքարավազ է ավելացրել եղբայրը՝ Վիլլ Քիտ Քելլոգը, որից էլ դրանց համը շատ ավելի հաճելի ու ընդունելի է դարձել: Արդյունքում 1894 թվականին օրիգինալ եգիպտացորենային փաթիլները արտոնագրվել են ամերիկացի բժիշկ Ջոն Հարվի Քելլոգի կողմից:
1906 թվականին Քելլոգները, հիմնելով սեփական ընկերությունը, որը մինչ օրս էլ հանդիսանում է եգիպտացորենի փաթիլների և չոր նախաճաշերի արտադրության առաջատարը ամբողջ աշխարհում, սկսել են այդ նոր տեսակի սննդամթերքի զանգվածային արտադրությունը: Նշենք, որ ներկայումս նմանատիպ փաթիլներ պատրաստվում են նաև ցորենի, բրնձի, վարսակի և այլ մշակաբույսերի հատիկներից: Եգիպտացորենի փաթիլների պատրաստման տեխնոլոգիան ներառում է եգիպտացորենի հատիկներից թաղանթների հեռացումը, սաղմերի առանձնացումը, հատիկի ստացումը, ինչին հաջորդում է վերջինիս եփումը աղաշաքարավազային օշարակի մեջ, որից հետո բարակ շերտերի պատրաստումը և 140օ C ջերմաստիճանում բովումը վառարաններում՝ մինչ խրթխրթան դառնալը:
Պատրաստի փաթիլները կարելի է պատել գլազուրով, ինչպես նաև ընկույզով, ցուկատով, հրուշակեղենի փշուրներով և այլն: Եգիպտացորենի փաթիլները կարելի է օգտագործել որպես ինքնուրույն սննդամթերք, սակայն, որպես կանոն, այն օգտագործում են՝ ավելացնելով սառը կաթ: Մեր օրերում եգիպտացորենի փաթիլները հատկապես երեխաների համար սիրելի քաղցրավենիք է, թեպետ մեծերն էլ չեն հրաժարվում նման նախաճաշից:
