«Մի քանի տասնյակ զինված թիկնապահներով շքախումբ, զրահապատ ավտոմեքենաների շարասյուն, ավելի քան 2000 ոստիկաններ, մարդկանց շարքերը շրջանցող ուղղաթիռ, կազմակերպված մասնակիցներով հավաքներ․․․ սա է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի Հայաստանը։ Նա զինված թիկնազորով գերեզման գնացողների ու զինված խմբով եկեղեցի մտնողների վարչապետն է։ Այսինքն՝ նա ոչ մեկի վարչապետը չէ, քանի որ Հայաստանում զինված թիկնազորով գերեզման ու զինված խմբով եկեղեցի գնացող միայն մեկ մարդ կա, ու այդ մեկ մարդու անունը Նիկոլ Փաշինյան է։

Ստացվում է, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ինքն իր վարչապետն է, այն զինված ու պաշարված իրականության վարչապետը, որում ապրում է ինքը։ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին թվում է, թե տասնյակ ամրակազմ զինված երիտասարդների ուղեկցությունն իրեն ուժ է հաղորդում, նա թաքուն մտածում է, որ իրենից վախենում են, նա, թերևս, հպարտանում է իր այդ հուժկու կերպարով։

Գուցե նա իրավացի է այն մարդկանց հաշվով, ովքեր դեռ չեն գիտակցել ու չեն հասկացել, որ ինքն այլևս վարչապետ չէ, ու ցուցումով կամ առանց ցուցումի վանկարկում են՝ «Նիկոլ, վարչապետ»։ Բայց բոլոր այն մարդիկ, ովքեր հասկացել ու գիտակցել են, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն այլևս միայն ինքզինքը վարչապետն է, խղճում ու կարեկցում են նրան, քանի որ միայն խղճահարության ու կարեկցանքի է արժանի տղամարդը, ով ուժ է ցուցադրում իր ենթակաների զենքով։

«Ժողովրդի վարչապետից» մինչև «զինված վարչապետ» դառնալու ճանապարհը Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն անցավ մի քանի հազար զոհերով ու կորսված հայրենիքով։ Այդ հազարավոր զոհերն ու կորսված հսկայական տարածքներով անկյալ հայրենիքն են Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի վարչապետության գինը։ Գին, որ, ըստ ամենայնի, Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին դեռևս քիչ է թվում։ Մնալով վարչապետի պաշտոնում՝ նա ցույց է տալիս, որ դեռևս ստանալիք ունի կամ ունեն այլք իր միջոցով։ Հայաստանը դեռ ամբողջությամբ չի փակել Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի վարչապետության հաշիվը։ Հիմա նա զբաղված է ստանալիքը պոկելով։

Անմիտների մոտ՝ վախ, մտածողների մոտ՝ կարեկցանք ու խղճահարություն առաջացնող երկրի ղեկավարը չափազանց ծանր բեռ է ցանկացած հասարակության համար, հատկապես, եթե այդ նույն բեռի պատճառով այդ նույն հասարակությունը կրել է լրջագույն ֆիզիկական ու բարոյահոգեբանական հարվածներ։ Զինված գերեզման գնալու ու զինված եկեղեցի մտնելու համար մարդը պետք է հաղթահարի անհաղթահարելի բարդույթներ ու տաբուներ։

Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն արել է դա, նա քայլել է տաբուների վրայով, նա ոտնահարել է սրբություններ։ Իսկ տաբուների վրայով քայլող մարդը վտանգավոր է, բազմապատիկ վտանգավոր, երբ այդ մարդը զբաղեցնում է երկրի ղեկավարի պաշտոնը, հարյուրապատիկ վտանգավոր, երբ իրականում նա իշխանություն չունի անգամ ինքն իր վրա, բայց իրեն թվում է, թե կառավարում է մի ամբողջ ժողովրդի, զի այդ ժողովրդի ինչ-որ հատված ցուցումով կամ ինքաբերաբար դեռևս բղավում է՝ «Նիկոլ, վարչապետ»՝ չհասկանալով ու չգիտակցելով, որ այդ կարգախոսում կա բովանդակային տառասխալ՝ նա այլևս ոչ թե վարչապետ է, այլ՝ վարչաղետ»,-գրում է թերթը:
