200 000 տարի առաջ մարդիկ նախընտրել են մահճակալներին քնել
VIDEOԱյսպիսի եզրակացության է եկել հնագետների եւ մարդաբանների միջազգային խումբը, որը հարավաֆրիկյան Սահմանային քարանձավում հայտնի հնագիտական պեղումների վայրում հայտնաբերել է հնագույն մահճակալների հետքեր, որոնք պատրաստվել են կորեկազգի խոշորատերեւ բույսերի խրձերից: Դրանցից, սակայն, քիչ բան է մնացել՝ միայն հազիվ տարբերվող հետքեր, որոնք, սակայն, հաջողվել է ճշգրիտ նույնականացնել ուժեղ խոշորացնելու եւ քիմիական վերլուծության օգնությամբ, հայտնում է «Հանրամատչելի մեխանիկա»-ն:
Խոտի մահճակալները տեղակայված են եղել քարանձավի խորքում` մոխրի մի շերտի վրա, որը, ըստ երեւույթին, քնած մարդկանց պաշտպանել է սողացող միջատներից: Ըստ գիտնականների՝ մոխիրը հին ժամանակներում բավականին տարածված միջոց է եղել միջատների դեմ, քանի որ խոչընդոտել է նրանց տեղաշարժին, ինչպես նաեւ արգելափակել է շնչառական եւ խայթող օրգանները: Բացի այդ, ամենահին մահճակալների վերին շերտում հայտնաբերվել են լելեշվայի հետքեր, դա բույս է, որը մինչ այժմ օգտագործվում է Արեւելյան Աֆրիկայում` միջատներից պաշտպանվելու համար:
Գիտնականների խոսքերով՝ որոշ դեպքերում հիմք է ծառայել այս վայրում տեղակայված ավելի հին մահճակալների մոխիրը: Դրանք հավանաբար այրվել են քարանձավը մաքրելու եւ միջատներին ոչնչացնելու համար: Մոխիրը նաեւ օգտագործվել է նոր մահճակալների տեղադրման համար մաքուր մակերեւույթ ստեղծելու նպատակով:
«Մեր ուսումնասիրությունը ցույց է տալիս, որ ավելի քան 200 000 տարի առաջ, համարյա մեր տեսակի ծագման ակունքներում, մարդիկ կարողացել են անհրաժեշտության դեպքում կրակ ստանալ, եւ նրանք օգտագործել են կրակը, մոխիրը եւ դեղաբույսերը քարանձավը մաքուր պահելու ու դրանից մակաբույծներին հանելու համար: Վարքագծի նման ռազմավարությունը կարող էր օգտակար լինել ինչպես առողջության համար, այնպես էլ այս վաղ համայնքներին առավելություն տալ»,- ասում է հետազոտական խմբի ղեկավար, պրոֆեսոր Լին Ուեդլին` հարավաֆրիկյան Վիտվատերսրանդի համալսարանից:
