«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Այսպիսով, արդեն իսկ պարզ է, որ Երևանի ավագանու առաջիկա ընտրությունը զերծ կմնա ոմանց համար տագնապի պատճառ դարձող 13 թվից: «Հարյուր տարի» լռության ուխտ պահած ՀԺԱՄ–ը նախ փաստաթղթերը ներկայացրեց ԿԸՀ, ապա և հրաժարվեց մասնակցել: Պատճառները նույնիսկ կարևոր էլ չեն, որովհետև նույն հաջողությամբ կարող էին հրաժարվել (դեռ ուշ չէ) մի շարք արդեն իսկ գրանցված ուժեր: Որքան էլ ճոխ ներկայացվեն սեփական հնարավորությունները, փաստը մնում է փաստ, որ հիմնական ֆավորիտ երկու ուժերից՝ «Իմ քայլը» դաշինքից և «Բարգավաճ Հայաստան» կուսակցությունից զատ շեմը հաղթահարելու շանսեր տեսականորեն ունեն «Լույս» դաշինքը և, լավ երևակայության դեպքում, «Ժառանգությունն» ու ՀՅԴ–ն: Հասկանալի է, որ վերջին երկուսի համար չափազանց դժվար է լինելու, սակայն տեսական հնարավորություններ ունեն՝ հաշվի առնելով Րաֆֆի Հովհաննիսյանի գործոնն ու ՀՅԴ–ի՝ ոչ շատ մեծ, բայց որոշակի կայուն ընտրազանգվածի առկայությունը:

Մնացյալի պարագայում, անկեղծ ասած, դժվար է պատկերացնել, թե ինչի հաշվին են կարողանալու, ենթադրենք, 20–25 հազար քվե ստանալ: Քվեներ, իհարկե, բոլորն էլ կստանան, նույնիսկ «Երկիր ծիրանի» կուսակցությունը, որն իրեն ճոխություն թույլ տվեց կորցնել իր սակավաթիվ անդամներից մի քանիսին, այն էլ՝ այնպիսի, որոնք (կամ գոնե 1–2–ը) համարվում էին այդ կուսակցության առաջամարտիկները: Արդյունքում կոյուղաջրի տհաճ հոտն ու ծանր հետքը մնացին: Ամեն դեպքում, ցուցակում ընդգրկվածներն ու իրենց շրջապատը կարող են քվեարկել այդ ուժերի օգտին: Սակայն դա բավարար չէ, ուստի արդյունքում մենք կարող ենք ունենալ ձայների պարզ փոշիացում:

Այսուամենայնիվ, այս ընտրությունները մի չափազանց կարևոր հանգրվանի կբերեն. գոնե մայրաքաղաքում հստակ կամրագրվեն հեղափոխության արդյունքները: Այս պահի դրությամբ ուժերի առկա դասավորությունը ցույց է տալիս, որ Երևանի ավագանին ամբողջությամբ (կամ՝ գրեթե ամբողջությամբ) կազմված կլինի հեղափոխության հետ առնչություն ունեցող ուժերից՝ «Քայլ արա», ԲՀԿ, «Լույս»: Սակայն սա ունի մեկ վատ կողմ. ավագանին փաստացի ընդդիմություն ըստ էության չի ունենա, քանի որ դժվար է պատկերացնել երկիրը միասնական ջանքերով նախկին իշխանություններից ձերբազատած կուսակցություններից որևէ մեկի ընդդիմադիր լինելը: Զուտ ֆորմալ առումով փոքրամասնություն կազմած ուժերը կարող են դիտարկվել որպես ընդդիմություն, սակայն դասական իմաստով ավագանին կլինի անընդդիմադիր:

Գուցե հենց այս իմաստով է այս ընտրությունը լավ լակմուսի թուղթ արտահերթ խորհրդարանական ընտրությունների շեմին, որպեսզի դրանք էլ չանցնեն անընդդիմադիր մթնոլորտում:
