Եթե Ադրբեջանում ունեն լուրջ մոտեցում Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտությունը խաղաղ բանակցային ճանապարհով կարգավորելու ուղղությամբ, ուրեմն պետք է գիտակցեն, որ Արցախը պետք է լինի բանակցային սեղանի շուրջ: Մայիսի 21-ին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանը նման տեսակետ արտահայտեց Մարդկային զարգացման միջազգային կենտրոնի նախագահ, հասարակական հիմունքներով ՀՀ նախագահի խորհրդական Թևան Պողոսյանը՝ անդրադառնալով ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հայտարարությանը, որ Արցախը պետք է վերադառնա բանակցային սեղան: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ փորձագետը նախ նշեց, որ այս մոտեցումը նոր չէ, և որին մեկ անգամ չէ, որ անկախ միջնորդներն արձագանքել են, բայց Ադրբեջանը չի ցուցաբերում այդ մոտեցումը: «1997-1998 թվականից միշտ ասել ենք, որ բանակցային ֆորմատը շեղված է, ասիմետրիկ է, բոլորը դրա մասին ասել են: Համանախագահներն էլ ասել են, որ մենք հասկանում ենք՝ կողմերից մեկը միայն հանդիպումների այս տեսակն է ընդունում՝ նկատի ունենալով Ադրբեջանը, բայց բոլորս էլ գիտակցում ենք, որ ուշ թե շուտ Արցախը գալու է բանակցությունների սեղանի շուրջ: Դա մեկ անգամ չէ, որ ասել են: Բայց Ադրբեջանը չունի այդ մոտեցումը, բացի ռազմական լուծումից, այլ պատկերացում չունի»,-ասաց Թևան Պողոսյանը:

 

Նա նաև նկատեց, որ, չնայած Ադրբեջանի արտգործնախարար Մամեդյարովը ասել էր պատրաստ ենք ինտեսիվացնել բանակցային գործընթացները, դրանից մեկ օր հետո այդ երկրի ղեկավարը, արձագանքելով Փաշինյանի հայտարարությանը, այս կամ այն տարածքներ գրավելու իրենց «կարողության» մասին էր խոսել: «Մենք գործ ունենք մի իրավիճակի հետ, երբ հակառակորդը պատրաստ չէ բանակցային գործընթացին: Ինձ համար իրավիճակը չի փոխվել: Մենք պետք է ձևավորենք հզոր երկիր՝ ուժեղ, ժողովրդավար, բաց տնտեսությամբ, գիտությամբ, արդյունաբերությամբ: Այն ոգով դաստիարակել սերունդներին, որ այսօր դեռ մյուս կողմը պատրաստ չէ սեղանի շուրջ բանակցությունների»,-նշեց փորձագետը:

 

Անդրադառնալով պաշտպանության նախարարության տարածած տեղեկատվությանը, որ ադրբեջանական ԶՈւ-երը Հայաստանի հետ սահմանի որոշ հատվածներում ձեռնարկել են ակտիվ ինժեներական աշխատանքներ՝ նպատակ ունենալով բարելավել դիրքերը՝ Թևան Պողոսյանը հիշեցրեց՝  Ադրբեջանը մեզ համարում է իրեն թշնամի երկիր, հետևաբար, ցանկացած պատեհ ու անպատեհ առիթ օգտագործում է իրավիճակից օգուտներ քաղելու համար: «Բացի այդ՝ չմոռանանք, որ մայիսը հայերի համար եղել է հաղթանակների ամիս, իսկ Ադրբեջանի ընկալումներով՝ ինչ-որ չափով պարտությունների: Գալիս է մայիսի 28-ը, երբ Ադրբեջանն աշխարհին փորձում է ցույց տալ, թե 100 տարեկան է։ Մենք օրացույցում ունենք օրեր, որոնց ժամանակ Ադրբեջանն այսպես թե այնպես իր ակտիվությունը ցուցաբերում է: Պատկերացրեք, որ կա որոշակիորեն լարված իրավիճակ կամ Հայաստանի իմիջը բարձրացել է այս տրանսֆորմացիոն իրավիճակում, թշնամին փորձելու է օգտվել ստեղծված վիճակից»,-ընդգծեց Թևան Պողոսյանը:
