Արտաշատի նորընտիր քաղաքապետ, ՀՀԿ-ական Կարեն Բենիամինյանը նախկին քաղաքապետ Արգամ Աբրահամյանից օրինակ է վերցրել: Armtimes.com-ը, ուսումնասիրելով Արտաշատ համայնքի ղեկավարի որոշումները, պարզել է, որ ընտրություններից առաջ քաղաքապետի ժամանակավոր պաշտոնակատարը համայնքի բյուջեի հաշվին սոցիալապես վատ պայմաններում ապրողների անվան տակ գումարներ է բաժանել:

Այս տարվա փետրվարին գրել էինք, որ դեկտեմբերի 16-ին քաղաքապետ Արգամ Աբրահամյանը տոներին ընդառաջ իր աշխատակիցներին պարգեւատրել է կլորիկ գումարով: Պարգեւատրման համար քաղաքապետարանի 2016 թվականի բյուջեից տրամադրել է 7 միլիոն 364 հազար դրամ գումար, որը բաժանվել է 67 աշխատակցի: 

Երիտհանրապետական Կարեն Բենիամինյանը սեպտեմբերին նշանակվելով քաղաքապետի ժամանակավոր պաշտոնակատար, շատ չանցած համայնքի միջոցներով սկսել է բարեգործություններ անել: Ընտրություններից մեկ ամիս առաջ՝ հոկտեմբերի 6-ին, Կարեն Բենիամինյանը որոշել է Արատաշատի բնակիչներ Ելենա Հովհաննիսյանին, Անահիտ Ավետիսյանին 20 հազարական դրամներ տրամադրել, իսկ Ռայա Դավթյանին եւ Սեդա Հակոբյանին 10 հազարական դրամներ է տրամադրել: Ընդհանուր առմամբ այս որոշմամբ 60 հազար դրամ է անհատույց տրամադրվել:

Անհատույց դրամական օգնություն է տրամադրվել նաեւ հոկտեմբերի 23-ին: Կարեն Բենիամինյանի որոշմամբ այս անգամ 80 հազար դրամ է տրամադրվել թվով 7 քաղաքացու: Ժորա Մելքոնյանին հատկացվել է 20 հազար դրամ, իսկ Մարգարիտ Հակոբյանին, Շողիկ Գրիգորյանին, Հասմիկ Ստեփանյանին, Սյուզաննա Սիմոնյանին, Վեհանուշ Սիմոնյանին եւ Կամո Խաչատրյանին անհատույց տրամադրվել է 10 հազարական դրամ:

Համայնքի ղեկավարի ընտրությունից 2 օր առաջ՝ նոյեմբերի 3-ին,  Կարեն Բենիամինյանը եւս մեկ անգամ գումար բաժանելու որոշում է կայացրել, սակայն այդ անգամ գումարի չափը մեծացել է: Քաղաքապետի այդ որոշմամբ ընդհանուր առմամբ 130 հազար դրամ է անհատույց հատկացվել քաղաքացիներին: Արման Ավետիսյանն ստացել է 50 հազար դրամ, Արամ Հակոբյանը՝ 30 հազար դրամ, Լիլիթ Դավթյանը՝ 20 հազար դրամ, իսկ Արայիկ Թովմասյանը, Արմեն Մկրտչյանը եւ Ալվարդ Ենոքյանն ստացել են 10 հազարական դրամ:
