Հայաստանի և Եվրոպական Միության միջև շրջանակային նոր համաձայնագիրը հավակնոտ է և ընդգրկուն, որը կարևոր քայլ կհանդիսանա Եվրոպական Միության հետ հարաբերությունները զարգացնելու և գործընկերությունն ընդլայնելու համար: Ազգային ժողովում ՀՀ 2018թ. պետական բյուջեի նախագծի քննարկմանն այս մասին ասաց ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարի տեղակալ Կարեն Նազարյանը: «Առաջ ընկնելով կամ, միգուցե, կանխատեսելով, թե ինչ կտա այս փաստաթղթի ստորագրումը Հայաստանին՝ նշեմ, որ համաձայնագրով նախատեսվում է ամրապնդել Երևանի և Բրյուսելի միջև երկխոսությունը և ամուր հիմք ստեղծել տնտեսական և սոցիալական բարեփոխումները շարունակելու համար, քանի որ ժողովրդավարության, մարդու իրավունքների և իրավունքի գերակայության հանդեպ ամուր հանձնառություններն ընկած են այս փաստաթղթի հիմքում»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ ընդգծեց Կարեն Նազարյանը:
Նա հավելեց, որ համաձայնագիրը համատեղ նախաձեռնություն է, որը հետագայում կխորացնի հարաբերությունները վերանայված Եվրոպայի հարևանության քաղաքականության և Արևելյան գործընկերության առավել լայն շրջանակներում: «Համաձայնագրով կստեղծվի էներգետիկայի, տրանսպորտի և շրջակա միջավայրի ոլորտներում առավել ամուր գործընկերություն, ինչպես նաև՝ ակտիվ շարժունակություն՝ հօգուտ մեր քաղաքացիների»,- շեշտեց ՀՀ ԱԳ փոխնախարարը:
Նազարյանի խոսքով՝ համաձայնագիրը նոր ժամանակաշրջան է նշանավորում Հայաստանի և Եվրոպական Միության միջև առևտրային հարաբերություններում: Այն կնպաստի առավել սերտ տնտեսական համագործակցությանը՝ բարելավելով բիզնես միջավայրը: «Այն հնարավորություններ կստեղծի նաև բիզնեսի, ներդրումների և նոր աշխատատեղերի ստեղծման համար: Համաձայնագրի համապարփակ, հավասարակշռված և ուժեղացված առևտրի դրույթները կօգնեն Հայաստանին հաջողությամբ ինտեգրվել եվրոպական տնտեսությանը: Համաձայնագիրը կուղղորդի Հայաստան-Եվրամիություն քաղաքական և տնտեսական հարաբերությունները որակական ավելի բարձր մակարդակ»,- եզրափակեց Կարեն Նազարյանը:
