Շատ է խոսվում այն մասին, որ եկեղեցու պատմության դասերը վերածվում են քրիստոնեական քարոզի դասաժամերի: Օրերս էլ ֆեյսբուքում լայն քննարկում ծավալվեց մի դեպքի մասին, երբ դպրոցում հայ եկեղեցու պատմության դասաժամը սկսվում է աղոթքով: 

Ստացվում է, որ Հայ եկեղեցու պատմություն անվանվող դասն իրականում վերածվում է եկեղեցու քարոզի դասի: Իսկ իրականում այն պետք է նպատակ ունենար սովորեցնել, թե պատմության ընթացքում ինչպես է փոփոխվել, որտեղից է սկսել, ուր է հասել Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցին: Ու թեև դասագրքերը գրված են այդ շարադրանքով, բայց մանկավարժների կողմից դրանք ընկալվում են ոչ թե որպես դասագրքեր, այլ Աստվածաշնչյան ներածականներ:

Ցանկացած մարդ ազատ է ընտրել ցանկացած կրոն: Որևէ վատ բան չկա աղոթքի կամ Աստվածաշնչի ընթերցանության մեջ: Բայց հայ եկեղեցու պատմության հետ դա որևէ կապ չունի: Մանկավարժների հաճախ ինքնաբուխ, հաճախ էլ քարոզչական ալիքի ստեղծած դոմինանտ մտածողությունից դուրս չմնալու տենդենցը վերացնում է դասաժամի իրական նպատակը և այլ նպատակներ առաջ բերում: Ինչն էլ իր հետ բերում է քննարկումներ տվյալ դասաժամի անհրաժեշտության մասին:

Իսկապես, ինչպես կարող է դպրոցական երեխան ուսանել հայ եկեղեցու բարդ պատմությունը, այդ եկեղեցու առաջացման պատճառներն ու զարգացման փուլերը: Երբ նույնիսկ հայոց պատմության դասավանդման այնպիսի մեթոդաբանություն չկա, որ դպրոցականներին կսովորեցնի քննադատական մտածողության, այլ ոչ թե հեքիաթասացության ու լավ ու վատ հերոսների մասին անգիր արած գիտելիքների: Եկեղեցու պատմության դասաժամի անհրաժեշտության հարցը դառնում է հերթական քննարկվող հարցերից մեկը ՝ կրթական համակարգի վերանայման կոնտեքստում:

Վերջերս էլ Պաշտպանության նախարար Վիգեն Սարգսյանն անդրադարձավ բանակում աղոթքի թեմային ՝ նշելով, որ խիստ պատժի զինվորներին աղոթել և մկրտվել պարտադրողներին: Պետության պաշտոնական դիրքորոշումը պարզ է, սակայն այլ հարց է ՝ այդ ամենը կվերածվի գործողության բոլոր մակարդակներում, թե կմնա զուտ որպես հայտարարություն:
