Հյուսիսային Կորեայի առաջնորդ Կիմ Չեն Ընը «սկսել է» հարգել ԱՄՆ-ին։ Այս մասին հայտարարել է ԱՄՆ-ի առաջնորդ Դոնալդ Թրամփը, փոխանցում է «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ն։
«Իսկ Կիմ Չեն Ընը, ես հարգում եմ հանգամանքը, որ նա, ինչպես ինձ է թվում, սկսում է մեզ հարգել։ Հնարավոր է, չնայած հազիվ թե, բայց հնարավոր է, որ դրանից ինչ-որ դրական բան ստացվի»,-ասել է Թրամփը՝ Ֆինիքսում (Արիզոնա նահանգ) իր ելույթի ժամանակ։
Մինչ այդ Թրամփն ու Կիմ Չեն Ընը փոխադարձ սպառնալիքներ են հնչեցրել։ Հյուսիսային Կորեայի առաջնորդը սպառնացել է հրթիռներ արձակել Գուամի ուղղությամբ, իսկ Թրամփը խոստացել է ԿԺԴՀ-ի վրա թափել «այնպիսի կրակ ու զայրույթ, ինչպիսին աշխարհը չի տեսել»։
