Ֆրանսուհիները «ա-լյա-նատուրել» դիմահարդարման գլխավոր պրոպագանդողներն են. Ֆրանսիական կինեմատոգրաֆիայի լեգենդ Կատրին Դենեւը խոստովանում է, որ լավագույն գեղեցկության խորհուրդը, որը ստացել է մորից, միշտ արեւապաշտպան քսուկներ օգտագործելն է։  «Ես մեծացել եմ բնության գրկում եւ  մայրս միշտ ասում էր, որ պետք է դեմքը պաշտպանել արեւից։ Ինձ թվում է, որ շնորհիվ դրա այդքան տարի անց մորս մաշկը շատ լավ վիճակում է, մայրս էլ իր  106 տարեկանում հիանալի տեսք ունի»։ Չմոռանանք, որ Դենեւը   73 տարեկան է եւ դա իրեն չի խանգարել դառնալ  Louis Vuitton-ի դեմքը։

Կարմիր շրթներկը՝ որպես աքսեսուար.

«Ես կարող եմ ընդհանրապես չշպարվել, սակայն հոնքերի մատիտն ու շրթներկը միշտ վրաս են»,- եւս մեկ խորհրդով կիսվել է Դենեւը։ Երիտասարդ սերունդը եւս հետեւում է դրան. Ժաննա Դամասն ամեն օր կարմիր շրթներկ է քսում։
 
Առանց օծանելիքի տանից դուրս չեն գալիս.
«Օծանելիքի մի քանի կաթիլները վարսերին, ականջների հետեւին, պարանոցին ոչ ոքի չեն խանգարի». վստահ է Կարոլին դե Մեգրեն, իսկ Ինես դե լյա Ֆրեսսանժը խոստովանել է, որ օծանելիք է քսում, երբ անգամ տանը միայնակ է։ Դա բացատրվում է գենետիկորեն. երբ ապրում ես պարֆյումերային քաղաքում, դժվար է դրանից չօգտվել։
