Պահակը դուրս եկավ դժգոհ աշխատակիցների խմբից և ասաց.
- Ես անցնում էի այս միջանցքով, իսկ ձեռքիս գումարով լի պարկ կար, որը տանում էի հաշվապահություն: Հանկարծ կոշիկիս քուղերը քանդվեցին, և ես կանգ առա ետնամուտքի մոտ՝ դրանք կապելու: Հանկարծ դուռն ուժգնորեն բացվեց և հարվածեց գլխիս: Ես միանգամից կորցրի գիտակցությունս, իսկ երբ ուշքի եկա, գումարով լի պարկն այլևս չկար:
- Դու իսկական խաբեբա ես, Դավի՛թ, - բղավեց Արմենը: Նա բռնեց Դավիթի օձիքից և հարցրեց. «Դե ասա՛, ո՞րտեղ է գումարը»:
