«Հոգևոր Հայաստան» նախաձեռության աջակից, «Ղարաբաղ» կոմիտեի անդամ, հասարակական–քաղաքական գործիչ Աշոտ Մանուչարյանը լրագրողների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ խոսելով Նախիջևանում անցկացված զինավարժությունների մասին՝ փորձեց ներկայացնել, թե ինչ հետևանքներ և ինչ վտանգներ կարող է դա ունենալ:
«Մխիթարական որևէ բան աշխարհում այս պահին չի կատարվում, մխիթարական այն իմաստով, որ մարդիկ ուզում են մի լավ բան լինի՝ քաոսը նվազի, լարվածություններն ու պատերազմները նվազեն: Սակայն այստեղ որևէ մխիթարական բան չկա, բոլոր գործընթացները ընթանում են հակառակ ուղղությամբ: Թվում է, թե այդ իմաստով «Իսլամական պետության» մոտակա վախճանը կարող է մխիթարական լինել, բայց դա էլ այդպես չէ, որովհետև գրոհայինները այդ տարածքները խլելուց հետո տարածվելու են տարածաշրջանով մեկ: Իսկ հիմնական կանխագուշակվող թիրախները Թուրքիան, Կովկասը, Միջին Ասիան ու Եվրոպան են»:
 
Ըստ Մանուչարյանի՝ մարդկությունը պետք է մի ֆունդամենտալ բան վերանայի, այս ամենը պատահականություն չէ, կարծես թե հսկայական քանակով ատյաններ կան, որոնք քննարկում են այս հարցերը, փորձում լուծում գտնել, մինչդեռ անընդհատ վիճակը վատթարանում է:
 
«Այս բոլոր զարգացումների պատճառը նա է, որ մի համակարգ է ստեղծվել, որն ուզում է հարստությունը և ուժը կենտրոնացնել մի ձեռքում և այդ համակարգը գործում է բոլոր տեղերում: Եվ հիմա Թուրքիայի կամ Ադրբեջանի գործողությունները, Նախիջևանի հետ կապված անցուդարձերը այս ուղղությամբ են: Բայց զուգահեռ դրականը նրանում է, որ այս ամեն ինչից խոսում են, այն տարածվում է մարդկության շատ շրջանակներում և դիմադրության, հակառակ տրամաբանությամբ գործող համակարգերն են ավելանում»,– ասաց նա:
 
Ըստ Մանուչարյանի՝ այն, որ Թուրքիան հերթական պայթյուն թիրախն է, թվում է, թե պետք է հայերին ուրախացնի, որովհետև դա այն ուժն է, որտեղ կատարվել է հայերի ցեղասպանությունը, և մենք միշտ սպասել ենք, որ հատուցում կլինի, եթե ոչ երկրային, գոնե՝ երկնային:
 
«Բայց բանն այն է, որ այդ պայթյունը ունենալու է ծանրագույն հետևանքներ ողջ տարածաշրջանի համար, առաջին հերթին՝ նաև հայերիս: Նախևառաջ այդ պայթյունի ալիքները տարածվելու են նաև Կովկասով ու Հայաստանով, և երկրորդը՝ Թուրքիայի տարածքում ապրում են մեծ քանակով ծպտյալ հայեր: Ճիշտ է նրանցից շատերը իսլամ են դավանում, մյուսները երազում են քրիստոնեության անցնելու մասին, երրորդներն էլ չգիտեն ով են, ինչ են, ինչպես են, բայց այդ հայկականությունը կա, և այդ մարդիկ նույնպես լինելու են այդ պայթյունի թիրախը»,– ասաց Մանուչարյանը:
 
Ըստ նրա՝ խնդրի լուծումները այլ կերպ պիտի ընթանան, և նրան ուրախացնում է այն հանգամանքը, որ հիմա մեծ քանակով հանդիպումներ են տեղի ունենում Թուրքիայի կամ Թուրքիան ներառող շրջանակներում: Վերջին այդպիսի հանդիպումը տեղի է ունեցել Բեյրութում, այն Փոքր Ասիայի բնիկ ժողովուրդների կոնգրեսն էր, որի նախաձեռնողը արևմտահայության կառույցներից մեկն էր:
 
«Այդ ֆորումին ներկա են եղել նաև թուրքեր, և այդպիսի ֆորումները հնարավորություն են տալիս ալտերնատիվ հարթություններում քննարկել ինչ և ինչպես անել: Այսպիսին է իրավիճակը: Նախիջևանն էլ այս տրամաբանության մեջ է, և այն, ինչ կատարվեց, սրացման գործիք է»,– հավելեց նա:
