«Հայկական ժամանակ» թերթը գրում է.
«Հայաստանի բազմաթիվ քաղաքացիների համար նպատակ դարձած ԱՄՆ քաղաքացիություն ստանալու մտայնությունը տարեցտարի սաստկանում է: Դա է վկայում Երեւանում ԱՄՆ-ի դեսպանատան կողմից armtimes.com-ին տրամադրված տվյալների համադրությունը: Դեսպանատանը մեզ տրամադրեցին վիճակագրական տվյալների մի բազա, որտեղ նշված է, թե որքան քաղաքացի է «Գրին քարտ»-ի համար դիմել իրենց, քանիսն են վիճակահանությամբ ստացել վիզա, որպեսզի հետագայում դիմեն ԱՄՆ կառավարությանը քաղաքացիություն ստանալու համար: Ամենաթարմ տվյալը 2015 թվականինն է, քանի որ 2016 թվականի վիճակահանության արդյունքները դեռ չեն ամփոփվել:
Միայն 2015 թվականին Հայաստանից «Գրին քարտի» համար մուտք է արվել 56 հազար 519 դիմում, որը պարունակել է 131 հազար 88 քաղաքացու տվյալ: 2014 թվականին դիմումների թիվը կազմել է 48 հազար 867, քաղաքացիների թիվը՝ 113 հազար 681, իսկ 2013 թվականին մուտք է արվել 42 հազար դիմում, որում եղել է 97 հազար 679 անուն: Նշենք, որ 1 դիմումում կարող է լինել դիմումատու քաղաքացու եւ, օրինակ, նրա կնոջ անունը: Մեկ այլ դեպքում կարող է դիմումատուն լինել դիմում գրած նույն տղամարդու կինը եւ նրա դիմումում կրկին լինի նախորդ դիմումատուի` նրա ամուսնու անունը: Այսինքն՝ 2015 թվականի 131 հազար 88 քաղաքացու մեջ կարող են եւ լինել կրկնվող տվյալներ:
2015 թվականին Հայաստանից մուտք արված 56 հազար 519 դիմումից պատահականության սկզբունքով համակարգիչն ընտրել է 2 հազար 49 դիմումատուի, որոնք նախ` ստացել են ԱՄՆ մուտքի վիզա, որից հետո կարող են դիմել արդեն քաղաքացիության համար: Համեմատության համար նշենք, որ Ադրբեջանից 2015 թվականին եղել է ընդամենը 13 հազար 986 դիմում, Վրաստանից՝ 24 հազար 916 դիմում:
Եվրոպա մայրցամաքից 2015 թվականին ամենաշատը շահած քաղաքացիները հետեւյալ երկրներից են՝ Ուկրաինան (4679), Ուզբեկստանը (4368), Ռուսաստանը (4103), Թուրքիան (3688), Մոլդովան (2809), Ալբանիան (2946): Հայաստանը 7-րդն է շահած 2049 քաղաքացու թվով:
Դեսպանատան տեղեկատվական բաժնից մեզ պարզաբանեցին, որ «Գրին քարտ»-ի խաղարկությունը ԱՄՆ քաղաքացիության տանող միակ ուղին չէ: ԱՄՆ քաղաքացիություն կարող են ստանալ ե՛ւ վիճակահանությամբ, որը բազմազանության քաղաքականության դրսեւորումն է, ե՛ւ ներգաղթի դիմումով, որի համար դիմումատուն պետք է լինի ԱՄՆ քաղաքացի»:
