Symantec եւ «Կասպերսկու լաբորատորիա» ընկերությունները գտել են այն բանի ապացույցները, որ WanaCrypt0r 2.0 շորթիչ վիրուսի միջոցով գլոբալ կիբեռգրոհի հետ կարող են առնչություն ունենալ հյուսիսկորեացի ցանցահենները: Մայիսի 16-ին այս մասին հաղորդել Է Reuters-ը:
Փորձագետների տվյալներով՝ կոդի այն ֆրագմենտները, որոնք հայտնաբերվել են WanaCry վիրուսի սկզբնական տարբերակում, օգտագործվել են Lazarus Group խմբավորման կողմից, որին կասկածում են Փենյանի հետ կապերի մեջ: Ըստ որում երկու ընկերություններում Էլ պնդում են, որ առայժմ վաղ Է խոսել գրոհի հետ ԿԺԴՀ-ի առնչության մասին, գրոհ, որն ախտահարել Է ավելի քան 300 հազար համակարգիչներ 150 երկրներում:
Համակարգիչների վրա գլոբալ ցանցահենային գրոհի մասին հայտնի դարձավ մայիսի 12-ին: Ցանցահենները համակարգիչները վարակել են արգելափակիչ վիրուսով (կամ շորթիչ վիրուսով), որը փողի փոխանցում Է պահանջում գործառական համակարգից արգելափակումը հանելու համար:
