 Վերջին շրջանում Չեխիայի Հանրապետությունում նկատվում է ոչ միայն մշակութային, կրթական, այլ նաև տնտեսական ակտիվություն:

«Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում այս մասին ասաց Չեխիայի Հանրապետությունում ևՍլովակիայում ՀայաստանիՀանրապետության արտակարգ և լիազորդեսպան Տիգրան Սեյրանյանը:

Հայաստանի և Չեխայի դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների մակարդակը դեսպանը բավականին բարձր է գնահատում, երկու պետությունների ղեկավարների միջև ընթանում է պարբերական քաղաքական երկխոսություն:

«Շատ ակտիվ են միջխորհրդարանական, մշակութային, կրթական կապերը: Կարող եմ ասել, որ վերջին շրջանում նկատվում է նաև տնտեսական ակտիվություն»,- նշեց Սեյրանյանը։

Գործարարության ոլորտները բազմազան են. սպասարկում, շինարարություն, սննդարդյունաբերություն։

Չեխիայում կան բազմաթիվ հայ գործարարներ՝ ամենահայտնիների շարքում են «Մառլենկա» ընկերության սեփականատեր Գևորգ Ավետիսյանը, գործարարներ Աղասի Զավարյանը, Կարեն Սարգսյանը, Արմեն Անանիկյանը, Արա Աբաջյանը։ ՀՀ դեսպանատունը ակտիվ աշխատանքներ է տանում վերջիններիս կողմից Հայաստանում ներդրումներ իրականացնելու ուղղությամբ։

«Չեխիայում կան ավելի քան քսան նկարիչ, բազմաթիվ բժիշկներ, մարզիկներ, ուսանողներ և այլք։ Ունենք նաև պետական ծառայողներ։ Դեսպանություն-հայկական համայնք ակտիվ գործակցությունը, ինչպես նաև Հայաստան-Չեխիա դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունները  մեր կարևոր ձեռքբերումներից են»,- ընդգծեց դեսպանը:

2010 թվականից սկսած տեղի են ունեցել պետությունների գրեթե բոլոր բարձրագույն պաշտոնյաների փոխայցելություններ` ներառյալ նախագահների պետական այցերը։ Բազմիցս փոխայցելություններ են եղել արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչությունների ղեկավարների մակարդակով։

Տիգրան Սեյրանյանն ավելացրեց նաև, որ 2013 թվականից ներկայացնում է Հայաստանը նաև Սլովակիայում, որի հետ նույնպես հարաբերությունները ջերմ են։

Հայաստանի և Չեխիայի միջև դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունները հաստատվել են 1993 թվականի հունվարի 5-ին՝ Չեխիայի և Սլովակիայի խաղաղ «ապահարզանից» անմիջապես հետո։

Չեխիայի հայ համայնքը հիմնականում հետխորհրդային է, թեպետ, դեսպանի խոսքով, իրեն հայտնի են տեղեկություններ հայերի ներկայության մասին նաև 17-րդ դարի վերջից։ Նախորդ դարի 20-ականներին Չեխիայի Հանրապետությունում ուսանել են մեծ թվով հայ երիտասարդներ, որոնք նույնիսկ միություն են ունեցել։ Հայերի քանակը մեծ չէ, 6-7 հազար հոգի, որոնցից շուրջ երկու հազարը Հայաստանի քաղաքացիներ են։

Պաշտոնապես գրանցված է Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցին, գործում են «Օրեր» պարբերականը, շաբաթօրյա հայկական դպրոցը, մի շարք միություններ, նաև վերջերս ստեղծված երիտասարդական միությունը։  

Սլովակիայում բնակվում են մի քանի հարյուր հայ, կան մի շարք հաջողած գործարարներ, արվեստի գործիչներ, բժիշկներ։
