ԵՄ-ն խոստացել Է Սիրիային ավելի քան 1 մլրդ եվրոյի օգնություն հատկացնել 2018-2019 թվականներին

 Եվրամիությունը խոստացել Է Սիրիային որպես հումանիտար օգնություն 560 մլն եվրո հատկացնել 2018 թվականին եւ նույնքան Էլ՝ 2019 թվականին: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, ապրիլի 5-ին հայտարարել Է Եվրամիության արտաքին գործերի եւ անվտանգության քաղաքականության գերագույն ներկայացուցիչ Ֆեդերիկա Մոգերինին՝ Բրյուսելում բացելով Սիրիային նվիրված  դոնորական խորհրդաժողովը:   
«Եվրամիությունն ամբողջովին կատարել Է 2016 թվականի համար տված իր խոստումները, պահպանել աջակցության մակարդակը 2017 թվականին: Մենք պահպանում ենք (օգնություն տրամադրելու) մեր պարտավորությունները՝ 2018 թվականին 560 մլն եվրոյի չափով եւ նույնքան Էլ՝ 2019 թվականին»,-ասել Է նա: 
 
Այդ միջոցներով ձեռք բերված առաջին անհրաժեշտության առարկաները, պարենամթերքը եւ դեղամիջոցները բաշխվելու են միջազգային ոչ կառավարական կազմակերպությունների եւ ՄԱԿ-ի գործակալության միջոցով: 
 
Մոգերինին նաեւ ընդգծել Է, որ հումանիտար ջանքերը պետք Է ուղեկցվեն Աստանայում հրադադարի շուրջ բանակցություններում եւ Սիրիայի հակամարտության քաղաքական լուծում գտնելուն նվիրված Ժնեւի հանդիպումներում իրական առաջընթացի ձեռքբերմամբ: «Միայն հակամարտության քաղաքական լուծումը կարող Է թույլ տալ ապահովելու արդյունավետ պայքարը եւ հեռանկարում հաղթանակը «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման նկատմամբ»,-ասել Է նա, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
