Ամերիկացի բժիշկ Փոլ Մարիկը պնդում Է, որ արյան վարակման դեմ պայքարի արդյունավետ եղանակ Է գտել վիտամին C-ի լուծույթի ներերակային ներարկման միջոցով: Եթե այս փաստը հաստատվի, ապա, մասնագետների խոսքով՝ որոնց հետ կապվել Է ԱՄՆ-ի Հանրային ռադիոն՝ NPR-ը, դա վիթխարի գործնական նշանակություն կունենա: Նա ինքը ՏԱՍՍ-ին պատմել Է, թե շատ ուրախ կլինի, եթե իր հայտնագործությունն օգնի պահպանելու մարդկանց առողջությունն ամբողջ աշխարհում, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:
