Դեսպան Մկրտչյանը մի շարք հանդիպումներ է անցկացրել Լատվիայում

 Լատվիա կատարած այցի շրջանակներում Լատվիայում ՀՀ դեսպան Տիգրան Մկրտչյանը (նստավայրը՝ Վիլնյուս) մարտի 22-ին հանդիպումներ ունեցավ ԵԽԽՎ-ում Լատվիայի Սաեյմայի ներկայացուցիչ Բորիս Չիլեվիչի, հայ-լատվիական խորհրդարանական բարեկամության խմբի նախագահ Սերգեյ Պոտապկինի և փոխնախագահ Գունար Կուտրիսի, ինչպես նաև Սաեյմայի ներկայացուցիչ Նելլի Կլեյնբերգայի հետ: Ա յս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից:

Հանդիպումների ընթացքում զրուցակիցները քննարկեցին միջխորհրդարանական բարեկամական խմբերի ձևաչափով համագործակցության խորացման հեռանկարները:

Դեսպան Մկրտչյանն իր զրուցակիցներին ներկայացրեց Ադրբեջանի կողմից միջազգային հարթակներում, այդ թվում` ԵԽԽՎ ձևաչափում, ցուցաբերած ապակառուցողական գործելաոճի էությունը և հայկական կողմի քայլերը դրանց կանխելու ուղղությամբ:

Հանդիպումների ընթացքում քննարկեցին առաջիկայում ՀՀ-ում կայանալիք խորհրդարանական ընտրություններին առնչվող հարցեր:

Օրվա ավարտին Լատվիայի հայազգի գործարար Մխիթար Մխիթարյանի ուղեկցությամբ դեսպան Մկրտչյանը ներկա գտնվեց Ռիգայի բիզնես ակումբի նիստին:

Մարտի 23-ին դեսպան Մկրտչյանը հանդիպեց Լատվիայի համալսարանի ակադեմիական գրադարանի տնօրեն Վենտա Կոցերեին: Հանդիպմանը քննարկվեցին Հայաստանի Ազգային, ինչպես նաև ՀՀ Ակադեմիայի ֆունդամենտալ գրադարանների հետ լատվիական գրադարանի համագործակցությանն առնչվող, ինչպես նաև դեսպանության հետ հնարավոր համագործակցությանը վերաբերող հարցեր: Վենտա Կոցերեն ներկայացրեց հայոց պատմությանը, գրականությանն առնչվող Համալսարանի ակադեմիական գրադարանի ունեցած գրքեր, իսկ դեսպան Մկրտչյանն, իր հերթին, գրադարանին նվիրեց հայոց պատմությանն առնչվող գրականությոն:

Նույն օրը ՀՀ դեսպանը հանդիպումներ ունեցավ Լատվիայում Հոլոքոստի թանգարանի տնօրեն, րաբբի Մենաչեմ Բարկահանի և Լատվիայում հրեական համայնքների խորհրդի նախագահ Արկադի Սուխարենկոյի հետ: Դեսպան Մկրտչյանը շնորհակալություն հայտնեց Մենաչեմ Բարկահանին Հայոց ցեղասպանությանը նվիրված ցուցահանդեսի շարունակականությունը Հոլոքոստի թանգարանում ապահովելու համար: Հանդիպումների ընթացքում քննարկվեցին հայ և հրեա համայնքների միջև համագործակցությանը վերաբերող հարցեր:

Լատվիա կատարած այցի ավարտին դեսպան Տիգրան Մկրտչյանը հանդիպեց Լատվիայի նախկին նախագահ Անդրիս Բերզինչի հետ: Հանդիպման սկզբուն Անդրիս Բերզինչը խնդրեց իր բարեմաղթանքները փոխանցել ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանին: Նախագահ Բերզինչը նշեց, որ Հայաստանի հետ մշակութային և տնտեսական հարաբերությունները խորացնելու համար Լատվիայում առկա է մեծ ներուժ: Նախագահը նշեց, որ նա շարունակելու է իր բարեկամությունը Հայաստանի և հայ ժողովուրդի հետ: Դեսպան Մկրտչյանը շնորհակալություն հայտնեց Անդրիս Բերզինչի ջերմ խոսքերի համար և ներկայացրեց դեսպանության նախաձենած առաջիկա միջոցառումները:
