Եպիսկոպոս Մաշալյանը խնդրել է Ամենայն Հայոց կաթողիկոսին միջամտել Աթեշյանի հեռացման հարցում

 Արամ արքեպիսկոպոս Աթեշյանը ցանկանում է պետության ուժով մնալ Պոլսո Հայոց պատրիարքական փոխանորդի պաշտոնում: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին Ստամբուլի հայկական «Ակոս» պարբերականի հետ զրույցում ասել է պատրիարքարանի հոգևոր ժողովի նախագահ Սահակ եպիսկոպոս Մաշալյանը, ով տեղապահ ընտրված Գարեգին արքեպիսկոպոս Բեքչյանի` Գերմանիայում գտնվելու ժամանակահատվածում լինելու է նրա փոխանորդ ը:

«Տեղապահ Բեքչյանը Գերմանիայից կարևոր հայտարարություններ արեց: Այս փուլից հետո Աթեշյանը կամ կանգնելու է եկեղեցու, կամ պետության կողքին, արդեն պետք է ընտրություն անի: Թվում է` նա ցանկանում է պետության ուժի միջոցով մնալ պաշտոնին: Թե որքան ժամանակ դա նրան թույլ կտան եկեղեցական օրենքները, կքննարկվի»,- հայտարարել է Մաշալյանը:

Նա տեղեկացրել է, որ Պոլսո Հայոց պատրիարքական տեղապահի ընտրությունից հետո երկու նամակ է ուղարկվել Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածին: Ամենայն Հայոց Գարեգին Բ կաթողիկոսին ուղղված նամակներից մեկի տակ դրված է ընտրության օրվա ժողովի քարտուղար Տրդան Ուզունյանի ստորագրությունը: Նամակում նշվում է, որ կայացած ընտրությունների արդյունքում պատրիարքական փոխանորդ է ընտրվել Գարեգին արքեպիսկոպոս Բեքչյանը:

Կաթողիկոսին ուղղված մյուս նամակը գրել է Մաշալյանը: Նա նշել է, որ տվյալ անցումային փուլում Գարեգին արքեպիսկոպոսի աշխատանքի իրականացումն ապահովելու նպատակով անհրաժեշտ է Գարեգին Բ կաթողիկոսի աջակցությունն ու օգնությունը: «Դժբախտաբար, Արամ արքեպիսկոպոս Աթեշյանը, հակառակ մեր եկեղեցու ավանդույթների և Ձեր առաջարկության, համառություն է դրսևորում փոխանորդի պաշտոնը չլքելու հարցում, ինչը եկեղեցու և հասարակության ներսում իրարանցման պատճառ է դառնում: Ձեր միջամտությունը կօգնի, որպեսզի այս փոթորկալից պաշտոնը դադարի գործել, իսկ Պոլսո հայ հմայնքի ներսում խաղաղություն հաստատվի»,- նշել է Մաշալյանն իր նամակում:
