Ադրբեջանական ռեպրեսիվ ռեժիմը հյուրընկալում է առաջին Եվրոպական խաղերը. USA Today-ի անդրադարձը

Այսօր բացվում են առաջին Եվրոպական խաղերը, բայց այս միջոցառման վրա ստվեր է գցում հյուրընկալող ռեպրեսիվ նախկին խորհրդային երկիրը, որը հայտնի է իր նավթային հարստություններով, այլակարծության նկատմամբ զրո հանդուրժողականությամբ և իշխանական օղակներում կոռուպցիայի մեղադրանքներով, գրում է USA Today թերթը։
Թերթը նշում է, որ Ադրբեջանը մոտ 1 միլիարդ դոլար է ծախսել մոտ 50 երկրից 6.000 մարզիկի ժամանման համար:
Խաղերի բացման արարողությունից առաջ արդեն ակնհայտ է դարձել, որ բոլորին չեն այստեղ ողջունում: Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանությամբ զբաղվող խմբերը և որոշ օտարերկյա լրագրողներ նշել են, որ նրանց արգելվել է մասնակցել միջոցառմանը:
«Ադրբեջանը ցանկանում է, որ այս խաղերն անցնեն քննադատությունից զերծ գոտում»,- ասել է տարածաշրջանային հարցերով զբաղվող Amnesty International-ի մասնագետ Լևան Ասաստիանին USA Today-ի հետ զրույցում:
«Ադրբեջանն արդեն հեռացրել է երկրի ներսում կառավարության դեմ քննադատական դիրքորոշում ունեցող բոլոր մարդկանց, և այժմ այն փակ երկիր է նաև միջազգային իրավապաշտպանների համար»,- հավելել է նա։
Ասաստիանին նշել է, որ իր գրասենյակը թռիչքից ժամեր առաջ նամակ է ստացել իշխանություններից, որում ասվում է, որ Ադրբեջանը չի ողջունում Amnesty International-ի ներկայությունը խաղերին: Մի քանի եվրոպական լրատվամիջոցներ, ներառյալ` Radio France International-ը և բրիտանական The Guardian թերթը հաղորդել են, որ իրենց աշխատակիցներին արգելվել է մուտք գործել երկիր վերջին րոպեին:
Թերթը նշում է, որ Գերմանիայի կանցլեր Անգելա Մերկելն այլ արևմտյան առաջնորդների հետ նախընտրել է ներկա չլինել բացման արարողությանը:
Փոխարենը՝ Իլհամ Ալիևը կընդունի Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինին, Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրողանին և Բելառուսի նախագահ Ալեքսանդր Լուկաշենկոյին, գրում է թերթը՝ նշելով, որ նրանք բոլորն էլ ուժեղ առաջնորդների կերպարներ են ստեղծել իրենց համար, մինչդեռ նրանց երկրները հայտնի են մարդու իրավունքների հետ կապված վատ իրավիճակով:
USA Today-ը հիշեցնում է, որ Ալիևը և նրա ընտանիքը մեղադրվում են կոռուպցիայի համար՝ խաղերի համար անհրաժեշտ շենքեր կառուցելու և ծառայություններ իրականացնելու նպատակով շահութաբեր պայմանագրերն իրենց սեփական ընկերություններին հանձնելու համար:
Խաղերի ընդհանուր արժեքի պաշտոնական թվերը չեն հրապարակվել, սակայն հայտնի է, որ նոր օլիմպիական մարզադաշտը միայն արժեցել է 600 միլիոն դոլար, ինչը նշանակում է, որ ամբողջ գումարը վստահամբ կլինի 1 միլիարդ դոլարից ավելի:
Թերթը նշում է, որ Human Rights Watch միջազգային իրավապաշտպան կազմակերպության համաձայն՝ ավելի քան 40 իրավապաշտպաններ և լրագրողներ, ովքեր հետաքննում էին իրական ծախսերը և հնարավոր կոռուպցիոն մեխանիզմները, հեռացվել են երկրից կամ ձերբակալվել:
«Ալիևը գիտի՝ ինչպես վաճառել Ադրբեջանը: Նա գիտի՝ ինչպես այն դարձնել շատ ժամանակակից, նորաձև և ոճային: Ալիևը կարողանում է վաճառել Ադրբեջանը, և շատ ցավալի է, որ եվրոպացիները գնում են ամենը, ինչ Ալիևը վաճառում է իրենց»,- թերթի հետ զրույցում ասել է ադրբեջանցի լրագրող Արզու Գեյբուլան, ով այժմ գտնվում է Թուրքիայում՝ Ադրբեջանից ստացած սպառնալիքների պատճառով:
