Արթիկի տուֆը՝ բնակչության հիվանդությունների պատճառ

Արթիկի բնակիչները դժգոհ են: Եթե Արթիկի տուֆը ամբողջ Հայաստանին ու ԽՍՀՄ-ին տուֆով էր ապահովում, ապա այսօր դրա պատճառով ժողովրդին ապահովում է մի շարք հիվանդություններով և քաղաքային ամենօրյա փոշով:
Բնակիչներից մեկը Past.am-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց.
- Ժամանակին Արթիկը դրախտավայր էր: Բայց Արթիկում սկսեցին հանքերը շահագործել, հանքերը բացեցին, քարն օգտագործեցին, և ոչ ոք չի մտածել էդ հանքերը փակելու մասին: Արթիկի բնակչուհին, ով ԵՊՀ Աշխարհագրության և երկրաբանության ֆակուլտետի ուսանողուհի է, նշեց.
-Եթե դուք քայլեք քաղաքի ծայրամասային հատվածներում, կտեսնեք հանքերից մնացած պոչամբարները, բացված հանքերն ու փոշու շերտը, որն ամեն անգամ քամուց տարածվում է քաղաքով մեկ: Հենց դա է պատճառը, որ մեր տարածաշրջանում մի շարք հիվանդություններ են տարածված: Ըստ էության, էդ հանքերը պիտի փակվեին, դրանց վրա պիտի հողային շերտ լցվեր, որպեսզի բուսածածկույթը վերականգնվեր, բայց քարը հանել են ու էդպես բաց թողել:
Արթիկի բնակչության մեծ մասի մոտ արտահայտված են վահանաձև գեղձի խնդիրներ, աստմատիկ հիվանդություններ և այլն:
Քաղաքի տարեց բնակչուհիներից մեկը պատմեց, որ ժամանակին տուֆի հանքերում աշխատող բոլոր բանվորներին հատուկ հյութ էին տալիս, որպեսզի սիլիկոս կոչվող հիվանդությունները, որ առաջանում են քարի փոշուց, չվնասեին բանվորներին: Բացի դրանից, տարին 2 անգամ բժշկական հետազոտության էին տանում, որ տեսնեին՝ քարի փոշին թոքերի վրա ինչ շերտով է նստած:
-Հիմա էդ փոշին, իհարկե ոչ էն ժամանակվա ծավալով, բայց էլի տարածվում է, ու դա շնչում է քաղաքի ամբողջ բնակչությունը:
Ժամանակին ԽՍՀՄ բոլոր պետություններին տուֆ արտահանող Արթիկտուֆ ընկերությունն այժմ փոքրիկ ՍՊԸ է: Այժմ գործում են մեկ կամ երկու մասնավոր հանքեր, որոնք աշխատում են խիստ անհրաժեշտ դեպքերում:
Արթիկի այս խնդիրը լուծելու համար որոշակի ֆինանսական միջոցներ են հարկավոր, որոնք քաղաքային իշխանությունները չունեն, սակայն հարկ է նշել նաև, որ ընդամենը 15.000 բնակչություն ունեցող այս փոքր քաղաքում օր օրի ավելանում են առևտրային կենտրոններն ու հանդիսությունների շքեղ սրահները:
