Ameriabank Leads Mortgage Market with More Than 22% Share

Ameriabank retains leadership in the banking sector of Armenia by mortgage loan portfolio, with 22.6% market share (June 30, 2025). In H1 2025, the bank’s mortgage loan portfolio increased by AMD 12.3 billion, surpassing AMD 360 billion as of June 30, 2025.
Ameriabank offers a wide range of mortgage loans: loans for purchase, renovation and construction of residential and commercial property, preferential lending terms under state programs, as well as special mortgage loan for our compatriots in the Diaspora. The bank’s new tranche lending mechanism allows reducing the credit burden during property acquisition stages until completion of construction.
Notably, over 45% of mortgage loans provided by Ameriabank in H1 2025 for purchase of apartments was issued online via MyHome.am.
This year, MyHome platform has been supplemented with a number of new tools that make real estate transactions more convenient and affordable. In particular, the platform allows to search for, buy or rent real estate both on primary and secondary markets. The geography of property has been expanded to cover options abroad. Additionally, a number of discounts and special deals in dozens of appliance, furniture, design and construction material stores is available for registered users.
Furthermore, the following new features were launched on the platform:
- The possibility to post personal announcements, enabling individual users identified as Ameriabank clients to publish real estate sale and rent advertisements. Previously, this feature was available only for real estate agencies.
- Renovation calculator, which allows planning the renovation budget by selecting the necessary categories (walls, ceiling, floor, etc.), entering the amount of construction materials and getting a calculation based on approximate average market prices.
- Property review option, enabling users to leave opinions about the presented property, thus ensuring transparent and reliable experience.
