The Power of One Dram Team Visits the Hayordi Camp

As we previously reported, the beneficiary of “The Power of One Dram” initiative in May was the annual “Hayordi” camp, with 4,991,788 AMD raised and directed toward organizing summer recreation and educational programs for the children of fallen servicemen.

Recently, “The Power of One Dram” team visited Hankavan for a long-awaited meeting — to spend time with the campers and get a closer look at their daily life.

Mane Gasparyan, Head of the SP Programs Group at IDBank, emphasized that “The Power of One Dram” has been one of the very first partners of the “Hayordi” Foundation, and over the past five years of cooperation, numerous impactful projects have been implemented together: “We join the ‘Hayordi’ camp with special love every time. For us, it’s a unique opportunity to engage with children who, having faced and overcome life’s many challenges, are now rediscovering their childhood. They continue to grow, learn, and shape their future—right here in our homeland.”

Let us remind you that the “Hayordi” Foundation was established following the 2020 war, with the mission to unite and support the children of fallen heroes. The foundation’s largest initiative is the “Hayordi” summer camp, held annually in Hankavan, which welcomes around 300 children aged 6 to 13 each year, creating a safe and inspiring space for learning, recreation, and connection.

According to the founder of the “Hayordi” Foundation, Vache Vardanyan, the most important guarantee of success in any endeavor is the power of unity — and “The Power of One Dram” is a true embodiment of that idea: “From the very first day of its establishment — for five years now — IDBank and Idram have stood by Hayordi’s side, doing everything they can for the children of our fallen heroes. Over the years, we have implemented many meaningful programs together, and I am deeply grateful to The Power of One Dram for their unwavering commitment to our children,” Vardanyan noted.

As part of the visit, a financial literacy session was held with the campers, during which the most active participants received special prizes prepared by IDBank and Idram.
