YOUNG PEOPLE FROM ITALY, ARMENIA, GEORGIA AND SPAIN SUMMARISED THEIR ENTREPRENEURSHIP ACHIEVEMENTS IN TBILISI

On October 6 ,2018 Tbilisi hosted the international conference “Youth Entrepreneurship” where delegations from Armenia, Georgia, Italy and Spain gathered to discuss entrepreneurship possibilities in tourism sector. The conference was organized within the framework of the one-year capacity building project “Dream,Believe,Achieve” supported by the European Union's Erasmus + program. The main objective of the project is to promote entrepreneurship among unemployed young people in target countries, focusing primarily on tourism opportunities. This sector is a growing sector both in Armenia and in Georgia and has a long-standing history as a core sector of economy in Spain and Italy.

The Conference was the final stage of the project during which the participants summarised their achievements in the field of entrepeneurship and presented their start-up projects developed as a result of the project.

Among the guests invited to the conference were; Ms. Nino Samvelidze representing EU Delegation to Georgia,who talked about EU support in the field of youth entrepreneurship, Mr.Giorgi Bregadze from Georgian National Tourism Administration of Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and Mr. Gogi Chikovani Head of Education and youth affairs from the Tbilisi Municipality City Hall.
